I’ve cared for animals my whole life. I’ve been professionally pet sitting for 5 years with many great reviews. I’m from Minnesota and grew up here with 5 dogs and 4 cats. Now I live in a van and travel full time, so I can’t have a pet of my own. Caring for your pets is how I get my animal fix. I’ve worked at an animal sanctuary in Hawaii caring for over 200 cats, plus many farms and kennels. I specialize in multi-pet packs, and anxious, reactive, or elderly animals — the ones who need a little extra patience and consistency. We just always connect. I’m back in Minnesota for the summer. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I can be home with your pet almost all day. I love to play, wear them out, give love, and walks are my favorite. I’ll leave your home clean and tidy. Please let me know if your pet has special needs — that’s actually where I do my best work. I love pets of all sizes. I’ll treat your pet like my own because I know how it feels to be away from them.

I enjoy actively doing things with pets because I do not currently have any of my own. Dogs especially attach to me very quickly so i like to let them sleep in my room and they usually follow me just about everywhere.

Maliya was amazing! Our pets loved her, especially our dog. She sent the perfect amount of pictures and updates on how the pets were doing. She even got our cat, who is normally very shy of new people, to come out and spend time around her. She was very respectful of our space and we will be rebooking her in the future. Highly recommend!
We would absolutely book with Maliya again. She is very friendly and enthusiastic about providing top notch care to our fur baby. Our care instructions were followed closely, we received daily updates, and we returned to no issues at home. She is an absolute star and we hope to have her over again!

Maliya is fantastic! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. She gave Lucy so much love and attention, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Maliya was always responsive, communicative, and incredibly helpful throughout our trip. She also took great care of our home and left it spotless. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with her again!
Mailya was great with our reactive and very nervous dog. She was super flexible and came over to meet Nellie beforehand. She listened to all our detailed instructions really closely. Our dog does not get along well with people who do not know about reactive dogs but she was awesome. Easy to communicate with and gave us great updates too. Highly recommended.
Maliya was great to work with! This was our first time having a house sitter so we weren't sure what to expect. She was very responsive and sent plenty of updates and photos while we were gone. We would definitely book with Maliya again!
