I grew up with a dog for much of my childhood. I previously volunteered at KC Pet Project helping walk the shelter dogs. This has given me experience walking all kinds of dogs, big and small. It has also given me experience walking dogs that pull on their leash or like to bite the leash. I also previously fostered dogs through KCPP including a beagle mix, bulldog, dachshund and numerous pitbull mixes. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule to come walk your dog! In the past I accepted dogs into my home to care for while their owners were away. We had our first child in November so at this time I am only accepting dogs I have previously cared for to be boarded at my home. My husband grew up with dogs his whole life and loves to play fetch or tug anytime the dog wants to! He does work a lot outside the home, so it is primarily me that will be caring for your dog. We live in a house that has a fenced in yard which is on the smaller side, but big enough to burn off extra energy and chase a ball! I also have experience caring for cats in their own home while their owner is on vacation on multiple occasions.
