Quality pet care is my priority!
I have always had dogs and cats growing up. Learning the responsibility of caring for an animal at a young age is crucial and I’m so grateful I had that experience! I have 2 large dogs and a cat. I know pet care is about more than checking a box on a to-do list. My goal is to make being away from home easier for both you and your pets. My son will be joining on drop ins and will be staying IN THE STROLLER during visits. If he requires to come out, I will make sure all animals are outside and/or enclosed, and return him to his stroller once we are done.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand that leaving your pets in someone else’s care requires a lot of trust. I treat every animal as an individual and take the time to learn their personality, routines, quirks, and comfort level. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. We have a fenced yard for our own pups, and for drop-in visits I’m especially mindful of doors, gates, and other potential escape routes. I’m happy to coordinate a meet-and-greet beforehand so we can go over your pet’s routine and you can feel completely comfortable with me.
Ratings and reviews
Malia is great with our two mini australian shepherds, Doug and Hank. Our older boy Doug has become more picky in his old age and has lost most of his hearing. Malia has taken that information and is understanding when Doug likes his medication give a certain way and sometimes has to be gently wakened because he didn't hear what was going on around him. Hank on the other hand can be a handful with all his energy, but Malia has never complained about the amount of times im sure she was asked to throw his toy. Over all I believe Malia enjoys spending time with our dogs and they get excited when they get to see their friend. When we are gone I know my boys are in good hands.
Malia has been around animals her whole life. She cares for them dearly and is an excellent trustworthy caregiver. She’s very dependable and communicative. She also will meet the reasonable needs of anyone asking for her service.

Schedule
Because I’m home full-time with my son, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to offer pet care at times that may be difficult for traditional sitters to accommodate. My son loves car rides, but loves dogs more! I would love to make some new furry friends in the area.

- I appreciate detailed instructions and would much rather over-communicate than make assumptions. Tell me everything — their feeding schedule, favorite sleeping spot, where they like to sit and watch the window, which door they like to dart toward, medications, quirks, triggers, favorite toys, and anything else that makes them them. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated during visits so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
