Hi! My name is Malia and I am a sophomore at UW Madison studying Psychology! I’ve grown up caring for my family’s Golden Retriever for the past 12 years, along with helping care for my grandma’s dogs—a rescue mix and a poodle. I’ve always loved spending time with animals, and getting to meet new furry friends is one of my favorite parts of pet sitting!

When I’m caring for your pet, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll follow their normal routine, provide plenty of attention, keep them fed, exercised, and happy, and make sure they receive the care they deserve. I’ll also stay in touch throughout the visit with updates and photos, and I’ll always contact you right away if I have any questions or concerns.

Even after only a short introduction, I immediately felt at ease leaving my 9‑year‑old Yorkie, Zoey, in Malia’s care for four days. She exceeded every expectation—responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. Zoey was happy and well‑loved, and my apartment was spotless when I returned. I’m incredibly grateful for her help and would recommend her without hesitation. I hope to see Malia again soon. Thanks so much, Malia!
Malia has grown up caring for dogs and chickens in particular and has enjoyed the company of many more animals. She has a compassionate and kind heart toward animals and is attentive to their needs. Due to her sense of responsibility and ambition, she has excelled as a student, employee, and any endeavor that she commits to. Serving as a pet-sitter would help her as she is missing her doggie at home while working hard as a student at UW-Madison. She would take great care of your furry or feathered friends.

Schedule
As I mentioned, I’m currently a full time college student, and I have a small part time job at an after school camp for kids. I will try my best to accommodate to everyone’s schedule and hope you understand that I may need flexibility to provide the correct and attentive care for your furry friends :)
