Welcome to our Ridgeside Cottage on the Hill! Are you looking for a safe, loving, and fun home-away-from-home for your pup? You’ve found it! Our cozy cottage sits on a ½ acre fully fenced property - basically a private dog park! I’m home all day and rarely gone for more than a couple of hours, so your pup will almost never be alone. Dogs live inside with us, get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and are always treated like part of the family! We know how much our pets mean to us, and we treat yours the same way! Dogs are like our children, and when they’re in our care, you can rest easy knowing they’re safe, loved, and spoiled with us. I’ve been caring for dogs full time for 10 years, and I can honestly say this is my passion. I also have extensive experience in dog training and rescue work, which has given me the knowledge to handle dogs of all personalities and situations with patience and care. I truly love what I do — making pups feel safe, happy, and loved while giving their parents peace of mind. When your dog stays with us, they’ll be safe, spoiled, and treated just like family. Consider this their home away from home! 💖 Our family includes two dog-loving teens, a laid-back Chocolate Lab, and a sweet easygoing Mini Dachshund and a very dog friendly cat — all ready to welcome your pup like one of our own. 🐶 I don’t require dogs to be crate trained — crates are only used if it’s part of their routine at home or if they’re not fully house trained. If your pup uses a crate, please bring their own so they have a familiar, cozy space. Please not: If your pup is not fully house trained they will be required to use a crate. 🐾 A Meet & Greet is required prior to booking for all new clients. This ensures your pup feels comfortable and that it’s the right fit for everyone. I don’t accept same-day bookings for new clients unless we’re able to schedule a meet & greet first. 💖 When your dog stays with us, they’ll be safe, loved, and endlessly spoiled — just like our own! Consider this your pup’s home away from home! Malia was a great sitter for Sadie. I was able to go on my trip and never worry how Sadie was doing while I was gone. Malia sent pictures and I could see how great of a time Sadie was having. Malia is very experienced in caring for dogs and Sadie was comfortable with her right away. Her own 2 dogs gave Sadie company and someone to play with.
Communication with Malia was exceptional. She sent pics of Molly during her stay. I would definitely recommend Malia!

Mali was great to work and very responsive to messages. Our fuzz bucket had loads of fun playing with her dogs. Would definitely use her again!
Malia is great and I will continue to use her. It’s always stress free. She sends photos throughout the stay and Buffett seems like he always has a good time!

Schedule
I’m home full-time and your dog will never be left alone unless I have to run a quick errand. Our ½ acre fenced yard is like a private dog park, and pups here are treated just like family! They will be safe, loved, and spoiled with attention!

I would love to play with and entertain your dog. We have tons of toys, we play games and play fetch! When dogs are tired out we go inside and rest and snuggle with lots of attention!
