I used to work at a dog daycare so I am certainly comfortable around dogs! the dogs I came into contact ranged everywhere on the personality spectrum. I am playful and enjoy spending time with them, but I also assert my authority and won't allow them to cross my boundaries (mindful of commands that parents use, try to keep rules the same etc.). I've trained some dogs to do basic tricks (roll over, sit pretty, bashful, put your toys away etc) and even worked as a bather for a little while. Growing up with pets definitely gave me the confidence and understanding for what it takes to be accepted and respected by any fur baby.
