Safety, trust & environment
I focus on safety, routine, and clear communication in both my home and my client’s home. I follow each pet’s feeding, walk, and play schedule, stick to owner instructions (including meds and leash rules), and keep the space clean and secure while sending regular updates.
Information Malia B. would like to know about your pet
Before I watch any pet, I like to know their routine, any medical or behavior issues, what they’re like on walks (pulling, reactivity, nervousness), and how they do with other animals and people. I also ask about feeding instructions, allergies, medications, house rules (furniture, crates, yard), and anything that stresses them out or helps them feel safe, so I can keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible.
A typical day
On walks, I don’t like to rush dogs. I let them stop and sniff because to them that is like our phone time (Lol). I mix in play or training if they enjoy it, but I always make sure they get time to explore instead of dragging them from one spot to the next.

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Malia Bryant. I’m a second‑year law student looking for a summer side hustle that lets me spend more time with animals. I’ve been passionate about animals of all kinds and sizes for as long as I can remember, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve had my own dog for seven years and walk him every day, rain or shine. Caring for him as an adopted dog with both behavioral and health concerns has given me extensive experience with anxious, reactive, or special‑needs pets and the extra patience they sometimes require. I’m reliable, detail‑oriented, and used to balancing a demanding law school schedule with daily pet care, so you can trust that your pet’s routine will be followed closely. Whether you need regular walks, drop‑in visits, or overnight care, I’m excited to meet your animal(s) and treat them like my own. If you have any questions, special instructions, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs.
Reviews

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Malia took such amazing care of our cats while we were away, and it was obvious they were getting lots of love and attention. She spent time playing with them, making sure they felt comfortable, and treated them as if they were her own. She even got the grumpiest cat to play with her. She also went above and beyond by bringing in our mail and taking care of little things around the house, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. It’s rare to find someone who is not only dependable and professional but also genuinely caring. Coming home to happy, relaxed cats says everything about the quality of care they received. We are so grateful for everything she did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. We will absolutely be using her again in the future!
