Daily schedule: Potty breaks are given every 1-4 hours depending on the dogs’ needs, weather, etc. Other than brief trips to run errands there is always someone home.

Boarding dogs are only introduced to my dogs and other boarding dogs once they are comfortable at my house and I know their temperaments well enough to ensure it’s a good interaction for everyone; they are always supervised when interacting with each other. Dogs are never outside in our fenced yard unsupervised. All dogs, even those from the same family will be fed separately. Cats will never be boarded with my cats nor cats from another family.

If your dog has any special needs, hasn’t done well in a different boarding setting, has a particular nighttime routine, has certain known fears, doesn’t prefer other dogs, has high prey drive, needs a particular bowl to drink out of, is an escape artist, or just likes to lounge on the couch please let me know. The more information I have helps me ensure a more comfortable stay for your pet.

I understand different dogs need different types of stimulation and I’m happy to play a game of tug, go on a walk, fill up the dog pool- I even have clients that prefer a daily car ride!

Hi, thanks for considering entrusting me with your pets! I have over 17 years experience pet sitting and specialize in providing care for giant breeds, senior animals, and special needs pets therefore I do NOT board high energy dogs. I have experience administering medications as well as experience with reptiles, rodents, and other small animals that I am willing to watch also. Drop offs and pickups should be scheduled between 9AM and 4PM, with a 30 minute pickup/drop off window. Late pickups without communication and agreed upon rescheduled time are subject to additional fees. DO: Bring your dog on a leash** NO retractable/flexi leads!!! Have a tag with your info on their collar. Bring enough food for your intended stay and two extra days in case of delay. DON’T: Withhold habits such as counter surfing, door dashing, food aggression- they’re not deal breakers and I can usually manage them if I’m aware. Forget to tell me of any special feeding instructions or allergies as we do offer high quality store bought or homemade dog treats. We have metal bowls and wire kennels as well as plenty of blankets and toys, however if your dog is used to a particular bed/bowl/blanket you’re welcome to bring it for them with the understanding that we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Malerie is the best. Our Golden’s Trigger and Piper were taken well care of . She sent pics and text messages which gave us piece of mind … and they came home happy. I can tell they were spoiled . Our female Piper has anxiety at times but Malerie handled her and Trigger like her own . We will be bringing them back to her .
Was great about working with a last second booking. Treated my dog like family.
I was nervous about having Willow watched for almost two weeks. But Malerie obviously did a good job with her.
Malerie genuinely cares for animals especially dogs. I will not hesitate to leave my dog with her again. In fact I already have her booked to keep my dog for our next trip.
