Animals are my home!
I’ve had pets all my life and i’m experienced with dealing with all kinds of behaviors. I am a long time volunteer kennel attendant with Dog Star Rescue, a local dog shelter, so I have years of experience working with special needs dogs and dogs with behavior issues of all breeds and sizes. I am patient and work well with animals. Their safety and well being is my first priority. I am also an animal lover who will treat your pets as my own. For those with aggressive or temperamental dogs/cats, please feel free to give me a try, as I understand how hard it can be to find help for pets with behavioral issues so I am willing to help!

Malena was a top notch pet sitter while we were out of the country! We were very nervous as we have older animals but it was clear that she spent lots of time with them, she was a great communicator and I felt so comfortable having them in her care - Thank you Malena!!!
We were extremely pleased with the dog-sitting services provided by Malena and her partner. While we weren't informed beforehand about her partner, nor did we have the opportunity to meet him, the overall experience remained very positive. Malena's communication was consistently excellent, and we particularly appreciated the daily photo updates of our dog. This truly offered us peace of mind, knowing they were safe and content.

This was my second time with Malena, and she was as great as the first time! Highly recommend.
Malena was great! She spent lots of time playing with my playful cat, sent regular updates where my cat looked very happy and engaged, and was a clean and respectful house guest. She is very responsive, and just overall great to work with! I would definitely recommend Malena for any pet owners. It was my first long stretch away from my cat, and I felt totally reassured she was in good hands.
Malena did a great job checking in on Ollie and even made sure to find someone to help her when she was feeling sick, which was much appreciated!

Schedule
I work from home and have multiple breaks throughout my day. I also live down the street from Bradley International. I also have cats who are very friendly with other cats and avoid dogs (they stay in their room when I have dogs over) so they are no trouble when boarding dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have multiple parks near me and I live with my older cousin who can also provide care for animals. I love hiking and going for long walks. I also have a decent sized fenced in back yard, puppy gates and crates to separate pets if needed. I have many leftover toys and treats as well as a big yard for exercise.

A typical day
I love going on long hikes and walks so stimulating big active dogs are no problem. I have many toys here at my house and I know all the good parks around to run and have fun!
