A Loving Match for Your Dog!
I’ve been around dogs since I can remember. My first dog was a German Shepherd when I was 4, 12, and 16. My friends and family have exposed me to a wide variety of dogs. I am always the first in the room to attract a dog and the last to leave its side. Small or big, I know how to leave your dog with a new human friend, happy and tired. I'm more than comfortable checking in and house-sitting with all types of dogs whether it’s a couch companion or a playful friend. I know with my German Shepherd it's always go, go, go so when he sits and naps it's a break for me too. I'm comfortable walking dogs that are leash-trained and dog friendly of all sizes.

Safety, trust & environment
I know it's difficult to open your home to a stranger, so I'm more than willing to meet or talk on the phone before you trust me with your pet! To ensure the safety of your dog, I need to know of any behavioral or medical issues. Depending on the issue, we can decide if I'm the best match for you and your dog. I know the basic do and donts, red flags, and really good at communication. I’m always patient, loving, and responsible! I understand there may be specific needs, wants, and asks so I’m all ears.

Malena was fantastic with our 3 large dogs, one being a puppy. She stayed in close contact with us with plenty of updates and the pups loved her. All of our dogs have very different personalities and she did great with all of them. Our request was very last minute and she was able to accommodate everything we needed. We highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again!
Malena is an incredibly mature and qualified candidate for any potential job opportunity that arise. She has owned three German Shepherds in her life so far, and has expressed the utmost love and ability to care for them throughout their lives. Although they were family dogs, she treated them as if they were her own, taking them to vet appointments, training them, providing enrichment and exceeding expectations in the quality of their lives. She is absolutely trusted with any of my dogs, which she has cared for before and she is incredibly kind, generous, and an overall delight to work with!
Malena is a very responsible individual and enjoys taking care of others. She has a knack for all types of animals. They gravitate to her and she’s very sweet, gentle, patient and kind. I trust her highly with my own dog and would recommend her for the position as she is very qualified.

She understands their comfort is top priority and always makes an effort to work with the dog. These abilities make her a perfect fit for watching animals and maintaining their safety.

Schedule
I just graduated college so I’m spending some time at home for the summer meaning I’m pretty much free whenever outside of committed plans. I’m pretty flexible so feel free to message me to figure a time and day out!
