Your Pet is My Mission
I do pet care in order to, as my family like to humorously refer to it, get my 'Pet Fix'. I have done rescue pets and, upon the return of the owner, have had owners comment regarding how comfortable and happy their pet is around me, even more than they expected.

Safety, trust & environment
While I am unable to take any pets into my home (I cannot provide Boarding), I always let any I meet make the final approach. I find that, especially for rescue animals, letting them determine how they approach me ensures that they are comfortable. I do ask to meet with owners for a consultation before the first time I care for a new animal, to ensure we go over details with owners as well as to ensure they (both owner and pets) are comfortable with me.

Malek proved to be a more than capable dog sitter during our recent trip abroad. He kept us updated and Bucky well fed and walked every day. I will definitely work with Malek in the future and recommend him to others searching for a good person to look after their dog.
This was our second time having Malek care for our pets and he is wonderful. Super responsive. He will give tons of love to your animals and is just a great guy. He has stayed in our home both times and we trust him entirely. Will definitely rebook next time!
Malek was very good with our 11 year old Heeler, Lani on a recent 10 day trip. He asked questions as needed and was very responsive. When we arrived home Malek had not “checked out” due to a car issue that morning, and the house was a little messy. He arrived shortly after and quickly packed up his things. We are happy to recommend Malek’s services to others.
Took great care of our cats and dogs. All warmed up to him immediately and we felt good leaving our boys with him.
Malek is great with dogs and takes good care of them. Our one dog can be difficult when meeting new people. Malek’s calm, wait for her to be ready approach, was perfect; they bonded well during his stay. Malek asked for a detailed list of what was needed while he stayed with them, and I provided that well in advance, after an initial introduction meeting. He confirmed that he didn’t have any questions about the list. He did make us aware that he has regular mid-day obligations and leaves for work in the early afternoon and returns late (9-10pm) – something to be aware of. As a house guest, there is room for improvement. Both the kitchen and bathroom sinks were left a total mess. The trash wasn’t taken out and had begun to mold and smell. The daily mail and paper deliveries were not brought in consistently. There was a lot of dog poop left laying in the yard. In the Spring the dogs shed their winter coat, so brushing was needed (brush location was included in the list), but not done. All of these items were included in the list that was provided as requested. Malek did stay on for coverage due to unexpected development, and that was very much appreciated. He did periodically send and respond to messages while we were gone. 5 stars for interaction with the dogs; 3 stars for house guest
Malek is a great friend to our dogs and takes great care of our home. We are always glad to have him watch the pups.

Schedule
I currently work Part Time, in the evenings from 4 PM to 8 PM, 5 days a week, excluding Fridays. Otherwise, I do not have any regular obligations other than Walking Dogs.

- While there is nothing specific I worry about learning prior to meeting with an owner, I want to go over as much detail as possible during my Meet & Greet with a new client, to introduce myself to both the owner & ensure that the pet(s) recognize & are comfortable around me. Please be aware, I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, so you will need to explicitly state everything - concerns, instructions, feedback, etc.
