Availability
I take most of my classes from home during the week, so I’m home a lot and have plenty of time to spend with your pet. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, whether that’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I do work on the weekends mainly, so I will make sure to attend to your baby before and after I come back from work if applicable. I love being around animals and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away.

For dog sitting and drop-ins, I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible. That means feeding on schedule, potty breaks or walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I always make sure food and water are good, clean up their paws and bum when coming back inside, and check that they’re safe and comfy before I leave. Im great with watching their body language, if they don’t want pets, do or don’t want to go outside, or don’t want to play, ill always listen. I also love sending pictures, videos, or even FaceTiming while you’re away so you can see how we’re doing and feel at ease.

It’s important for me to know your babys routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or allergies. I also like to know how they are with other pets and people, any training cues they know, and if there are things that make them nervous or extra happy. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away
A typical day
I love staying active with the pets I watch! I’d happily get my daily run in with your dog, go on long walks, or take trips to the dog park to burn off some energy. Inside, we’ll play with their favorite toys, get plenty of belly rubs and cuddle time, and if they enjoy it, I’m always down for a little car ride adventure.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with an Irish Setter, so taking care of dogs has always been a part of my life. Feeding him, bathing, walks, and trips to the dog park were all part of my routine growing up. I’ve also volunteered at the Montgomery County Adoption Center, where I helped care for cats, dogs, and small pets, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and personalities. I’ve also dog-sat for my aunt’s dog, Milo, multiple times. I’m very attentive, and genuinely enjoy making sure loved ones feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

Malachi has been great with Viktor. She is caring, attentive, and thoughtful, and she takes Viktor’s well-being seriously. She was available for a meet and greet on very short notice and handled everything with care and professionalism.
