I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with an Irish Setter, so taking care of dogs has always been a part of my life. Feeding him, bathing, walks, and trips to the dog park were all part of my routine growing up. I’ve also volunteered at the Montgomery County Adoption Center, where I helped care for cats, dogs, and small pets, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of animals and personalities. I’ve also dog-sat for my aunt’s dog, Milo, multiple times. I’m very attentive, and genuinely enjoy making sure loved ones feel safe, loved, and comfortable.

For dog sitting and drop-ins, I try to keep things as close to your dog’s normal routine as possible. That means feeding on schedule, potty breaks or walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I always make sure food and water are good, clean up their paws and bum when coming back inside, and check that they’re safe and comfy before I leave. Im great with watching their body language, if they don’t want pets, do or don’t want to go outside, or don’t want to play, ill always listen. I also love sending pictures, videos, or even FaceTiming while you’re away so you can see how we’re doing and feel at ease.

Malachi has been great with Viktor. She is caring, attentive, and thoughtful, and she takes Viktor’s well-being seriously. She sent pictures throughout the day, and Viktor became very attached to her. Her communication skills are excellent. She is transparent about her expectations and work. She was available for a meet and greet on very short notice and handled everything with care and professionalism. We are very happy to have found her and will continue working with her on a weekly basis. We highly recommend Malachi to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and clear.

The love Malachi shows to Milo gives me a piece of mind when I am away. Milo is very active and Malachi goes the extra mile to ensure that he stays active throughout the day.

Schedule
I take most of my classes from home during the week, so I’m home a lot and have plenty of time to spend with your pet. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, whether that’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I do work on the weekends mainly, so I will make sure to attend to your baby before and after I come back from work if applicable. I love being around animals and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
