I'm currently working remotely, so I have flexibility to be able to come to you or for you to drop your cat or dog off to me! I do need to go out periodically for commitments, however it wouldn't be for more than a few hours at a time. If so, I would let you know in advance.

Information Mala H. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed preferences, and would just like to know any do's and don'ts for your home (ie. are they allowed on furniture? Where are their favourite toys, and feeding schedules, etc), as well as how your dog interacts with other dogs (and cats, as I have one of my own). I do have 20 steps up to my apartment, so your furbaby would need to be able to climb the stairs, or be light enough for me to be able to carry them up and down (approx. 30 lbs max).
A typical day
I'll happily to go to any parks in your neighbourhood, and check out dog parks as well, where your pup can socialize. I also have two great parks in my neighbourhood. Stimulating your cat or dog by playing with toys is also a great way I like to interact and bond with them.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a black Lab mix named Goose, along with an orange tabby named Roo, and they were my first loves. I have previous experience fostering both dogs and cats, and I absolutely loved the adventures, except when I had to say goodbye! Being a guardian to 4 cats of my own over the years (including a 5-month period helping to care for the 6 kittens the stray whom I adopted gave birth to!), while living with roommates and helping care for their dogs has been so rewarding, as well. I practice patience, use positive reinforcement, and never use force of any kind as punishment. I do have a sweet cat named Ourson, who gets along well with dogs. However, if yours doesn't like cats, I can keep them separated and in different parts of the apartment. I'm able to provide pet sitting services either in your home or mine, whichever you prefer. I love animals, and I will treat yours like they're family. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog or cat with a stranger, so please feel free to ask me any questions and share any concerns you may have. I look forward to hearing from you, and hope to work for you soon! Note for potential boarders and doggy daycare pups: - I have a roommate (she's the other person in the one pic in my photos), and while she's great with both cats and dogs and has helped me with my fosters in the past, I will be the sole person doing all the caring for your furbaby! - I do sometimes have 2-3 dogs max. (including boarding and doggy daycare pups), so I'm best equipped to care for dogs who are socialized. I also live in an apartment building, so I can't care for dogs with separation anxiety who will bark. I do have occasional appointments or errands that will take me away for up to a few hours, so pups that chew on property or bark excessively would not be a good fit. - I live in a quiet and safe apartment close to Broadview station, however I don't have access to a vehicle. So pickup/dropoff is only available to those who live within an approx. 30 minute walk from my home, unless you're open to covering the cost of an Uber Pet. - Accessibility at my home: approx. 20 steps to second floor apartment (no elevator).

Mala is an amazing communicator and dog walker. She really helped out with my dog raffiki and I could tell he was having a blast with her! I look forward to hiring mala again :)
Mala is a super responsible sitter. She is a great communicator, sending us photos and videos of our dog. She left the kitchen spotless. We felt relaxed and confident while we were away and will definitely utilize her services again in the future.
Our Murray spent 5 days with Mala and he seems to have had a good time based on the daily pictures she sent to us. We will definitely ask Mala to dog-sit Murray again.
