☀️Hello Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Harvest! I’m new to the area from New Mexico and excited to meet your pets. I’m offering drop-in visits for now while I prepare my home for boarding. Can’t wait to help care for your furry family members! My name is Mako, I’m originally from Japan. I’ve had many pets over the years, and I truly love caring for them. Currently, I live with my 6yo Siberian Husky named Bogey, a 2yo German Shepherd named Hayden, and an 11yo cat named Pepper. When I’m taking care of guest dogs, my cat stays safely in her own room with the door closed, so there is no interaction between her and other pets. I have a 1.2acres, fully fenced backyard where your dog can run, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely! In addition to dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for small animals and reptiles, including guinea pigs, rabbits, lizards, geckos, snakes, and chickens. ***Important Info*** 🐾I only accept neutered dogs. (I take un-spayed female dogs) 🐾Boarding dogs must be fully potty trained, unless they are under 1 year old. 🐾No refund after the service started even you decided to pick your puppy up early. 🐾 I may ask if your dog is up to date on Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and on regular worm/parasite prevention. 🐾For Redstone Arsenal ppl… I have base access! 🐾 I have a full time on-site job so I can only watch the pups who can stay in the crates up to 8hours. I will never let your dog (or mine) off-leash outside unless it’s in a securely fenced area. If my dogs and guest dogs don’t get along, I make sure to separate their space and playtime to avoid any accidents, typically using the kitchen and living room areas.

Mako did a great job caring for our two cats and two guinea pigs! She was very diligent and took notes during our meet and greet as not to forget anything. She was very communicative and we didn’t have any worries about our pets while we were gone. We will definitely book her again in the future!
Mako did a great job with our critters! They can be a little overwhelming, and she managed them very well. Great communication and lots of pictures!
Makoto was great taking care of my cats last minute while I was out of town. Very detailed notes & tons of pictures. She even checked things like room temperature and gave them treats. Highly recommend her if you’re in need of a sitter! Will book again.
Makoto dropped in on our two puppies last week. She was wonderful and kept us up to date on everything that happened while at the house. I would highly recommend her.
Makoto was incredible with my dog Brooks over the holidays!! She sent multiple pictures and videos every single day with an update of everything Brooks got up to that day. I got updates on his eating habits, his playtimes, his potty breaks, and any other pertinent info. She is a great communicator and truly loves all dogs!! I would recommend her as the best dog sitter anytime :)
Makoto has done a great job caring for my reptiles when I’m out of town for weeks at a time. She’s very reliable about learning the care routine for each species and I would definitely recommend working with her!

Schedule
I have a full time on-site job so I can watch the pups who can stay up to 8hours. Sorry for the inconvenience! On hot days, outdoor playtime is kept short to make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.
