Loving Care When You’re Not There.
I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have been caring for them from a young age. I started dog sitting as a young teen for my aunt and now regularly care for a family friend’s Mastiff for about two weeks each year, so I’m no stranger to big dogs, drool, and extra-large cuddles. At home, my family shares responsibility for our Pit Bull, giving me hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and affection. I truly love being around dogs and look forward to having a home full of happy pups after I finish college.

I care for pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, and house rules. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection, while also keeping their space clean and safe. I always keep owners updated so they can feel at ease while they’re away.
Ratings and reviews
Makiya is very gentle and patient with Buddy. She’s like a dog whisperer because when he’s down and not feeling well, she always seems to pick up on that before anyone else does. Whenever we got something going on whether it’s leaving the country or state she’s our go to and a lot of other peoples go to as well. She’s very trustworthy with your pet or other people would call them their children.
Makiya is great with our 5 year old Pitt Bull Buddy, she is very patient and kind to him. When we go out of town Makiya takes care of him. Buddy loves to see Makiya he gets excited wags his tail and loves the endless rubs! I would recommend Makiya to anybody looking for a dog sitter.
Ever since Makiya was little, she has always had a deep love for animals. From dogs to cats and everything in between, animals naturally trust her because of her gentle spirit. She is caring, loving, patient, and responsible when it comes to caring for pets, always making sure they feel safe and loved. Makiya treats animals with kindness and respect, understanding that they are part of God’s creation. Her love for God shows through the way she cares for others—including animals. Schedule
As a full time student, I’m able to dedicate my weekends to giving your pup plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m also happy to help with check-ins or walks during the week when our schedules align. I’m very flexible, and caring for dogs never feels like a chore to me, it’s something I truly enjoy and am always glad to fit into my routine when I can.
