A Calm, Cozy Home for Your Cat
Blake and I both have many years of experience caring for cats, and are kitty parents to our own cat, Louie. We love having guest cats and truly enjoy getting to know each one's unique personalities. Whether your cat loves playtime, getting brushed, earning treats, or just chilling by themselves, they will be welcome and loved while they are here. We have a one bedroom apartment that is a calm, comfortable environment with plenty of cozy spots and enough space for cats to relax, hide, or have time alone if they prefer. We also have a couple of big windows that are perfect for bird watching! Blake and I both manage Rover sits, so you may be messaging with or meeting up with either or both of us!

Makenzie , She provided great care for Brittany during her stay .pictures of her stay of looking she was in charge. Her cat and mine got long and even played with her. When I need to do this again I will send Makenzie a request for her services to take care of Brittany. Rover provide the service for me to find someone to take of her.
Mackenzie and Blake did a great job making my cat feel comfortable in their home and were flexible to meet her unique needs. Communication was great and very responsive. Their apartment was a clean, peaceful, and safe place for a pet. I'll gladly board my cat with them again!

Makenzie watched over my cat while I was out of town for 6 days. She sent me updates and pictures along the way, which really put my mind at ease. She was able to give my cat his supplements and adhere to his strict diet. Makenzie took excellent care of my little guy while I was away, and I will definitely be reaching out to her again.
Ken herself is a wonderful pet owner! Her cat Louie has his own iPad. That is a testament to how she would Treat other pets. Probably not buy them an iPad. But he is so well taken care of I would trust her to watch any pet! They would be so lucky to hang out with her.

Schedule
Blake and I are both school teachers, and work during typical school hours. We spend most weeknights and weekends hanging out at home, especially when we have guest cats to entertain and care for. Outside of work, I love hiking and going on walks, pottery, reading, thrifting, and spending time on creative projects.

Safety, trust & environment
Our apartment is about 800 sq ft with large windows that are great for bird watching! There are multiple quiet, cozy spaces where cats can relax or be alone if they prefer. Our cat, Louie, is a very chill 7-year-old who mostly sleeps and enjoys the occasional wand toy. He gets along with other cats, and mostly prefers to be alone. When we get guest cats, I often keep Louie separated in the bedroom for the first day. This gives them both time to get used to each other, and for your cat to check out the space on their own. We do have a balcony, but pets will not have access to it unless we discuss it ahead of time and they are comfortable wearing a harness and leash. We have some experience with giving medications, but are most comfortable with lighter medical needs, such as adding a supplement powder to food or things similar.
Pets
A typical day
We have plenty of toys, so your kitty will have many choices. Blake loves to set up "challenges" for Louie to earn treats (ex: getting it out of an overturned bowl) and they would love to add another player into the games! For kitties who prefer to hangout by themselves, we have many cozy, cat approved spots throughout the apartment with blankets, beds, and pillows. We both work full time as teachers and follow a typical 8 hour work day. However, I work close to home and am able to come home during lunch for a check in when we have guest cats if needed.
