Absolutely sweetest girl ever! My sweet boy is older & a lot of work at times but she immediately calmed my nerves & mom dog anxiety & her updates put me at ease that he was in perfect hands despite all of my crazy requests & details about caring for him! Can’t wait for my bubbas to visit Makenzie again!
Makenzie and Jared took such great care for my anxious and sometimes unpredictable dog and my senior cat. they sent updates in which both my fur babies looked happy and content. I will most definitely use them again for future boarding and care.
Was nervous about boarding Stella since we’ve never done this. I appreciated the daily updates, pictures and walks that Stella thoroughly enjoys. It seems that Stella was right at home and probably didn’t mind her lengthy stay with Mackenzie & Jared. I know that if we needed to board Stella again we’d definitely choose Mackenzie!
Makenzie and Jared were an awesome couple to take care of Macy. Macy immediately made friends with them at our meet and greet which made the drop off so easy. Makenzie sent many pictures and updates of Macy and her response to the thunderstorms. We all, Macy included were happy that she was able to spend the time with Makenzie and Jared and agreed she would be welcome to come back anytime. I highly recommend Makenzie as a Rover Sitter. Her attention to Macy was outstanding as she obviously loves animals and was reciprocated by Macy. Janice Kakish
As always, Makenzie was super communicative, prompt, friendly and caring for my dog. I always know she’s in good hands with Makenzie and don’t worry about her being taken care of!
This was our first time with Makenzie for our lab/pit bull mix, Liily for a week and she surpassed all expectations! An unexpected bonus booking with her is her fiance, Jared who is equally attentive and compasionate in his care giving. They are both incredibly kind people and seem to have a true passion for caring for our pets. Makenzie's responses were immediate and she gave daily photos and updates which was incredibly reassuring. Our senior dog has her physical challenges with unexpected vomiting and diarrhea and her fear of thunderstorms and they both took this in stride and seem undaunted. I relaxed more and more each day of our vacation seeing the care and attention that Lilly was receiving. I was afraid Lilly wouldn't want to come home! I can't recommend them highly enough. Caring for your dog would seamlessly fit into my daily routine. I love evening walks and would truly enjoy having your dog as my walking companion. As a teacher, I have summers and holidays off, giving me plenty of time to provide attentive care and play with your dog in our home. Your dog will feel right at home with us, enjoying a warm, loving environment and plenty of time to play, relax, and explore. We’re also within walking distance of a dog park, where we can enjoy fun outings and exercise together!

I always prioritize the dog’s safety, being mindful of potential hazards during walks, playtime, and at home. I keep them on a leash unless in a safe, designated area. I also provide plenty of affection and attention to make the dog feel comfortable and loved, treating them as if they were my own.

I live in an amazing dog-friendly community, surrounded by plenty of local parks and several dedicated doggy parks. It’s the perfect place for dogs to have a blast, and I would love nothing more than to take your dog out for some fun and adventure! We can explore the winding trails, play games of fetch in open fields, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk while taking in all the new scents. Your dog’s happiness is my top priority, so I’m ready for everything from high-energy activities like running, jumping, and chasing to relaxing moments under a shady tree. We’ll make the most of every park we visit, letting your dog socialize with other pups, splash in water, or find the best sticks to carry around. With plenty of belly rubs, tasty treats, and a day filled with excitement, your dog will have a wonderful time and leave with a wagging tail and a happy heart.
