Typically, I work part time on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which gives me plenty of time throughout the week to spend quality time with your pups! Whether it’s a fun and energizing walk, a cozy check in, or some extra playtime and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, comfortable, and truly cared for while you’re away. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making their time with me enjoyable, safe, and full of attention, because they deserve nothing less!

When at your home, I care for your pet based on the information and preferences you share with me. I’m very respectful of your space and make sure to leave your pup happier than I found them! At my home, I have two friendly, lazy cats who can keep your dog company. I again follow the information and preferences you provided to keep your pet comfortable. My apartment has a green yard in the back, which is perfect for potty breaks and a bit of outdoor time. While it’s unfenced, I’ll keep your dog leashed at all times and keep a close eye on all outdoor activities. As long as they are trained, I’ll take your pup on daily neighborhood walks or even to the park if they’re a more active breed. Here, pets are treated like family, with full access to snuggles on the furniture if that’s something they’d enjoy. I also keep pet parents updated with photos, videos, or messages, so you’ll always know how they’re doing!

It’s important for me to know all relevant details about your pet to ensure the best care and experience for us both. This includes any special needs or medical conditions, specific diets or feeding routines, and their temperament, especially any signs of aggression or anxiety triggers. Pets must be non-aggressive towards both people and cats, as I have two friendly, laid-back ones at home. I’d also love to know about their breed traits, energy levels, and how they handle walks, especially their leash manners. The more I know, the better I can make them feel right at home!
A typical day
With the pets I watch, I love making sure they’re entertained and happy with a mix of fun and relaxation. For active pups, I enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood or taking them to nearby parks if they’re up for it. For pets who enjoy downtime, we can snuggle up at home or spend time in yard for a bit of sunshine and fresh air. I love to play interactive games like fetch, tug-of-war, and hide-and-seek to engage dogs playful sides. And if they’re more into lounging, I’ll keep them company with lots of petting and belly rubs, whatever makes them feel comfortable and happy!

New to Rover, but not to pet care! I have a deep-rooted love for animals, sparked by my childhood on my families farm. Growing up surrounded by many animals, including dogs, taught me the importance of nurturing and understanding each pet’s unique personality. I enjoy discovering the funny quirks and individual traits that make each dog special. With hands-on experience caring for many dogs through various stages of life and health issues, I’ve developed skills in managing their unique needs and behaviors. I know that every pet requires a tailored approach, and my background equips me to provide the highest level of care. I’m also familiar with basic pet first aid and emergency procedures, allowing me to act quickly and effectively if necessary. My greatest strength is my patience and understanding, which help me build trust with each animal- ensuring they always feel safe and comfortable when in my care. Additionally, I know being away from your fur babies can be stressful and I’m very good at communicating by providing updates through pictures, videos, or text messages if that’s something you’d like!
