My name is Makenzi, I have experience with a variety of dog breeds from small to giant and all levels of training, including protection and sport dogs. While I am your pets caregiver I love to share photo updates during your time away to help ease any stress. I am dedicated to keeping everyone comfortable and safe while in my care so I am sure to follow any instructions exactly as described while providing a positive and comforting energy. I have worked with an animal shelter, as well as taken animal science, vet skill classes and have hands on experience in large and small animal first aid/ care. I can easily evaluate dog behavior and body language so if strangers aren’t your dogs forte, that is not a problem and we can discuss management so no unnecessary stress is added during visits.

Safety, trust & environment
I am comfortable with any kind of safety precautions such as keeping dogs leashed while out to potty, feeding animals separately during meal times, crate and rotate routines and anything else that may help keep pets safe at all times.

Makenzi was amazing with our two dogs! Our drop/pick times were a bit off than originally planned and she was incredibly flexible and communicative. She sent us lots of pictures of both dogs having a great time. It’s very clear she has a love for dogs and we were so comfortable leaving our dogs with her. Will definitely have her watch our pups in the future ?

Schedule
I offer sniff style(where dog gets to lead) or structured walks(depending on your dogs level of training), drop in visits or a combination of both depending on you and your pets daily routine.
