I work from home, and have flexibility during the day for dog walks and boarding. Typical schedule includes a walk in the morning 2-3 walks/dog park in the afternoon/ evening, and then a walk before bed.

A typical day
Fetch, multiple walks during the day, local dog park, dog run in building, bones or chew toys. I make sure high energy dogs have enough stimulation and lower energy dogs get enough exercise while following their signals whether they want to play/ walk or rest.

Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner since I was a child. I have had all types of animals from guinea pigs, to fish, to dogs of all sizes and cats of course! I grew up with Dobermans, German Shepard’s and Pit Bulls, so dogs of any size/ breed will be in great hands! I’ve babysat since I was 13 for families with pets and would include their care along with the children's’ and would often been asked to pet sit while families went on vacation. I work from home and have availability to pop in throughout the day, or give your pet consistent company when boarding or house sitting. Pets are a part of your family and I want to help make sure that they get a walk in, extra head scratches, and anything else they might need during the day! I also am available for overnight and long term care!

Makenzi was amazing! She watched our two dogs while we were away for a week, and it was so reassuring to know our dogs were in such great hands! Makenzi sent us pictures and updates throughout our trip, which we loved to see their pictures!! We’re so glad to have met her and to have her watch our dogs again for our next trip!
