Fickle or friendly, fanged or furry, I’ve cared for all range of temperaments and types of animals since I was young. I’ve house sat with dogs and cats, ranging from a geriatric cat who needed medication administration, to a German shepherd puppy who knew how to get on to the counters. I’m no stranger to smaller pets like bunnies or less furry pets like snakes and fish, and friends and family have trusted me with daily visits as well as long-term boarding. I know how important it is to help keep pets on routine and have participated in some training sessions with dogs in my care. I am a friend and a calming presence to the animals I watch, and I want to offer that same consideration to anyone in need of pet care.

I take care to follow established routines and restrictions when I watch pets so my visit keeps them comfortable and on track. I have petsat many anxious and in-training pets and know how important schedule and environment are to keep a content animal. I respect their personalities as much as I respect the rules of the home.

Makensie watched our dogs for 12 days and was wonderful! She was communicative and left our house spotless. Our dogs were very happy when we returned. We didn’t worry at all about our dogs while in her care which made vacation so relaxing. Would 100% rebook!
Makensi has walked my mutts and housesit. She’s been responsive with communication, vigilant with the pups, and punctual. Would definitely trust he with dogs and house again.

Makensi was amazing! She was very flexible and communicative throughout her time watching our dog Pegasus. She even handled a last minute injury right before we left that required her to give Pegasus medicine and take on/off a cone. We highly recommend Makensi and hope to book her again in the future!
We’ve used Makensi multiple times before, and this time when we traveled for our destination wedding. Makensi is so reliable, a great communicator, clean, and our dog loves her. Knowing we had the piece of mind with Makensi watching our dog made us be able to enjoy our wedding/vacation.

Programa
I telework, and can be as present as needed for pet care. I can visit with your fur friends or stay awhile; I love having the company and the opportunity to go outside and bring some movement to my day.
