Pet care fits great into my routine. I have been sitting for 8 years now. I always include extra time for dog care in my schedule. I do not have kids, so other than my career, I do not have major responsibilities. (Other than caring for your fur baby!) I am flexible and free!

In terms of caring for pets in someone elses home, I am greatly experienced and trusted. The 4 families pets I care for, I sit at their house. I respect boundaries, and belongings. I am willing to build trust as well. For my own home, I have no pets and share my house with one roommate. My yard has grass and fenced in. Inside my home, there is a lot of space. My house is more minimalistic. I am open to the clients seeing my living space, prior to bringing their fur baby over.

Please let me know if your pet has any medical needs that I would need to attend to, so that I can ensure I give the best care. As well as if they have any triggers!
A typical day
First, I am always willing to do the activities you would do with your pets on a daily basis. However, if solely up to me, walks are always my go-to activity! As well as catch, parks, etc. It mostly depends on what your animal prefers to do. I’m always willing to accommodate!

Pet care experience
I was an intern at Fairgrounds Animal Hospital for two years, so I have plenty of knowledge beyond just being a sitter. I have cared for over 20+ dog breeds. Along with puppies. Not just dogs, but cats, reptiles, birds, and fish. I am a loyal sitter to 4 families, whose dogs I have cared for since they were puppies. I have sat for 3+ dogs at a time. I am great at ready animals social cues, energies and worries.

Makenna is not only my bestest friend, but she is the “godmother” to my two very large dogs. She never hesitates to go above and beyond for them whenever I need her to. She is really one of the only people I trust to take care of them and tend to all of their special habits and lifestyle while I am away. Me and both of my pups are extremely grateful to have her around. I couldn’t think of a more perfect fit for Rover than her!
kenna is absolutely extraordinary. She is reliable, responsible , dependable and caring. We consider her family and our pet Cooper absolutely loves her as do we. We highly recommend her.
We have known kenna for over 10 years now, and she has always helped us with anything that we may need which ultimately came down to our animals. I don’t trust many people with the needs of my animals and she goes above and beyond to make sure that she does everything plus more. We trust her with our children and our fur babies.
