I have had several roles both in home pet sitting care as well as daily walks/playtime clients. I have taken care of up to 4 dogs at a time (2 of which were puppies). I have experience with basic puppy training techniques and have shown my own dog multiple times in agility and showmanship. I am very patient, kind, absolutely love animals and can't wait to love on yours!

Makenna has a natural affinity for animals and animals know she’s an animal lover. They feel it. She has a calming effect engaging with them, that draws them in with lightness, smiling gentle communications, and clarity of intent. I’ve seen nervous animals immediately relax with her mindful energy that allows them to feel safe and appreciated in her care. Responsible and experienced, Makenna is resourceful and skilled at understanding what, when, and how ….in a wide range of situations as she tunes into the animal’s natural personality and behavioral clues that helps her build trust and a bond with the animal. I trust Makenna fully with my animals and have on many occasions, during extended business and personal travel, had her care for them.
Makenna helped take care of all of the animals on our farm, including over 30 horses. Her dedication, work ethic, and genuine care for the animals were constantly impressive and deeply appreciated. Makenna became part of the family and we miss her up here in Michigan! If you have a chance to hire her to help take care of any of your animals, you won't regret it and your animals will thank you!

She was great with Oliver! He has anxiety and she was great with understanding and so kind. She was also great at communicating while she had my little fur baby.
She's an amazing caring young woman. Has incredible skill working with animals as evidenced by her multiple world championships in the horse world. Would definitely trust her to care for my pets.
Makenna has watched my dogs overnight on several different occasions. She is wonderful to work with. The dogs absolutely love her. She communicated well with my husband and I. She followed the instructions we left for her. Our house was exactly how we left it. We love using Makenna as our dog sitter. Definitely recommend her, you won't be disappointed.

Schedule
I am currently a full time student but have time between classes that I can spare in order to care for pets throughout the day. I am gone with the equestrian team most weekends but would love to help out when I am available.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or preferences beforehand so I can accommodate for them. Feeding times as well as bathroom break frequency is information that will help me best service you!
