The most important information I’d like to know if there’s any special needs an animal has, big or small. Medications, allergies, certain things that make them uncomfortable, or anything that would help improve their time with me is always great to know. Preferences of toys, activities, or anything at all your pet loves ensures they’re having the best time :). My top priorities are making the animal feel loved and safe, sticking to their routine, and building relationships and trust with clients.
A typical day
No pet is the same. I’m happy to meet any needs that make an animal happy, safe, and healthy. As someone who loves the outdoors, making sure a dog has had plenty of exercise, enrichment, and play time is one of my top priorities of the day. On the other spectrum, I have no problem being good company to companions who prefer a more leisurely lifestyle.

There’s nothing greater than making a new furry best friend. Caring for and earning the trust of animals is the most rewarding experience. I’ve been a lifelong pet owner, as well as walked and sat pets for friends and family for 10 years. Animals are one of my passions, and I hope I can share the love!

My cats and I had a great experience! Makenna clearly loves animals, was positive and patient, a prompt and detailed communicator, and followed all the expected pet routines. I was also absolutely delighted with the photos she shared each day - she was somehow able to capture my cat’s personalities each day and the photos were totally above and beyond what I was expecting. Would totally recommend Makenna!
Makenna was so patient, conscientious, dedicated and thoughtful! It was difficult to go outside due to the heat, and she played games with the dogs indoors to keep them entertained. That was no small feat for our heeler! She provided regular updates with pics, so we could enjoy our time away knowing the dogs were well cared for. She went above and beyond to take care of our home needs as well, and she left our home spotless!
We couldn’t be happier with the care that MaKenna gave to our fur babies while away on an overseas trip. She always checked in daily letting us know how they were doing and sent photos which always made it easier on us while we were away. She went above and beyond leaving our home spotless too. My GSD has a very sensitive GI and she followed her diet regimen to a T. I highly recommend her to watch and care for your fur babies. Thank you, MaKenna!!!
Makenna was amazing throughout the entire process. She was easy to communicate with and trustworthy. She gave us detailed updates with photos. Our dogs seemed happy and our house was clean when we arrived. Makenna was so thoughtful in following our directions and seemed to really enjoy spending time with our two dogs which made us feel much more comfortable while we were away knowing they were getting love and care. Would definitely recommend Makenna and hope to book her in for future ~
