Hi!! My name is Makenna and I am new to rover, looking to build my clientele in the dog-sitting business! I grew up with animals around the house since I was a newborn. My parents' first dog was a high-energy rat terrier puppy named Sammie - who was my first ever friend. Sammie and I basically grew up together and the house has always had a variety of animals running around - ranging from dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and even geckos that my sister and I would catch in our backyard. I have ALWAYS had a big heart for animals...but specifically dogs in general. I used to check out this dog breed encyclopedia from the library at my elementary school every single week and read it religiously. You can absolutely test my knowledge of dog breeds because I studied every single breed in that book! I have lots of experience in dog walking as well as pet sitting / house sitting. I have had 4 dogs throughout my life so far and have helped train them as puppies and take care of them up until their senior years. I would say I am a very energetic, playful and caring person who can provide the best quality care for any of your animals.
