Hi there! I'm Makeda Imani, and caring for animals is truly my passion. I've been doing pet boarding and sitting for over 7 years, and I’m certified in both animal psychology and behavior as well as pet first aid, so your furry friend will be in safe, experienced hands. 🐾 At this time, I only offer house sitting in your home, where your pet feels the most comfortable and secure. I know how important it is to keep routines consistent, and I always treat your home and your pet with the same love and respect I would my own. Although I don’t have my own car, I always make sure I’m prepared—whether that’s using Pet Uber or other reliable transportation options. So you don’t need to worry—your pet’s needs and safety will always come first. Whether it's playtime, snuggles, or just being a calming presence while you’re away, I take every job to heart. I’d love to become part of their care I take care of regular house pets as well as exotic animals I can do light house care work while there as well and I always leave the pet and the pet parents happy and satisfied 😊

Pretty sure our dogs were disappointed when we came home because their time with Makeda ended. 😂 We received regular updates, adorable photos, and knew the whole time that our pups and home were being incredibly well cared for. Everything was spotless when we returned, and our dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly spoiled with attention. We'd absolutely book her again. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and capable of winning over anxious dogs, you've found them.
My furbabies were so loved by Makeda! She sent me pictures throughout the day and had so much patience with my senior baby who can't walk anymore. Definitely recommend her if you're looking for someone to care for your furbabies.
We had an unfortunate last minute cancellation with our last sitter and had to find someone less than a week before our 2 week trip abroad and makes a Responded quickly and was able to house sit for the two weeks and take care of our 3 cats. She did an amazing job updating us and kept our place nice and clean!! Book with her as she’s very reliable!!
Makeda did an awesome job looking after our puppy. She sent a many pictures and kept us to to date during the pup’s day care. Highly recommended!
Our little dog had the comforts of home under Makeda’s supervision. My family and I appreciated her caring demeanor, and the daily photos and text communications. Makeda never made us feel like it was a bother to reach out daily to update us on our 4-legged family member. Upon picking up our dog Bijoux, she looked well-fed and rested, not anxious or stressed at all. We look forward to booking Makeda again if we have travel plans where it would be a challenge to bring our beloved dog along.
Absolutely great! Plenty of updates, notes, and pictures throughout the stay. Was able to give medication with no issues and gave plenty of pets to my cat. Would recommend without questions and will be using Makeda for next time when I'm out of town.

I currently do pet sitting at your home full time at the moment so all my time essentially goes into my small business and doing my pet sitting

I always follow strict instructions given to me by clients and if not then I know how to take care of pets pretty I am also willing to administer medication provide treats to administer medication walks or just have enrichment time and play as well as run if the dog is capable or just relax if they're that type of pet I truly do try to treat others animals as if they are my own while taking care of them so you won't be seeing any negative change in your pets behavior while working with me
A typical day
Atypical day is starting out with any food supposed to be given I usually follow walking instructions or I take out out every two hrs for Walks depending on your dog's tempermant to the outside or instructions given to me I'll typically spend all day with your dog I usually order grocery if needed for myself or dog as I do pet sitting I use lyft pet if I need to take dog to vet in a emergencies and rover has things to help with emergency Aswell but I've never had issue with that but the res tof the day is filled with encouragement and affection to your pet baby's and I send daily update pictures and I inform right away if l see any abnormalities in your pets behavior as well
