I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide range of pets—including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, mice, and chickens. I work from home full-time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I practice positive reinforcement only. It helps build trust, keep things safe, and it is most successful for long term behavior. I like to include trick training during my visits. I've helped dogs learn sit, down, shake, speak, spin, and touch (nose to hand). It’s a great way to keep them mentally engaged and build confidence, especially for anxious pups. I also have experience in administering oral medications and caring for senior animals. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how they’re doing.

Once again, Makaylah was an awesome pet sitter for our dog and cat. She made sure she followed their daily routine and always communicated with us with updates and photos. We were able to relax on our trip knowing they were well cared for.
Makaylah has sat for us twice and I feel so lucky to have found her. I have a 14 year old pup that I haven't left since she was much younger, and I was nervous. I shouldn't have been. Makaylah made her feel right at home, sent me pics and updates daily, followed her feeding schedule, and made her comfortable. Sydney can't go on walks anymore but she loves to putter around outside and she got lots of time to do that. Makaylah was also able to take her on super short notice this last time, which I really appreciated so I could take a spur of the moment weekend trip. It's really nice to know I have someone Sydney feels so comfortable with so I don't feel guilty at all about leaving her. I highly recommend Makaylah and couldn't be more pleased with her quality of care.
Makalah once again did a wonderful job caring for our dog and cat in our home. She stayed two nights this time, and everything went well. Makalah's communication with us throughout has been terrific. We appreciate that she sends us pictures of our pets. Our home is exactly as we left it. We are fortunate to have found Makalah. We honestly can relax during our time away knowing that our boys are well cared for.
Makaylah did a fantastic job taking care of my dog, Gunnar. I needed her last minute for a weekend stay when my usual pet sitter had a family emergency, and Makaylah was very responsive and immediately set up a meet and greet. She knows a lot about dogs and was instantly comfortable with Gunnar. She asked all the right questions and sent me frequent updates, which I appreciated. I came home to a happy dog and a clean house - what more could you ask for? I will definitely use her again, and can highly recommend her services.
Makaylah was absolutely wonderful. I needed very last minute overnight accommodations for my pup, and ended up needing an extra day of care. Makaylah was so kind and flexible. My dog (who is often nervous with new people for a few minutes) took to her immediately, and it made me feel so comfortable leaving her, and I got morning and evening texts with sweet pictures and updates on how she was doing. I would highly recommend Makaylah to anyone!
Makalah is our first pet sitter from Rover. We hired her for house sitting so that she could care for our dog and cat in the comfort of their own home. We have had friends and family take care of the pets, but we’ve never had someone come spend the night. Makalah did an amazing job with both our pets. She bonded instantly with our cat and as she said, He’s my bestie! Our dog is 13 years old and requires more care, as he takes seizure medication three times a day. Makalah took on this responsibility and she made sure she let me know when she gave him his meds. Makalah’s communication with me throughout the day and night was great. She also sent pictures of both pets along with an update on how things were going. I am so glad I decided to take a chance with Rover and with Makalah. We will definitely be calling in her to care for our pets again.

Schedule
Im wfh and have pets of my own so I'm always home! My schedule is overall very flexible, and I can shift things around to make things work especially for repeats. Go on vacation or give yourself a weekend away.

A typical day
I try to follow your pet’s normal routine closely to keep them comfortable. Being WFH, my schedule allows me to provide multiple walks, frequent bathroom breaks, on-time meals, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Activities are tailored to your pet’s personality—whether that’s walks around the neighborhood, playtime in my fenced yard, trick training, or quiet companionship.
