MaKayla took care of our 5 pets for a week long trip and everyone was safe and sound upon our return. She took extra care to clean up after our messy cat and I really appreciate that. She did reschedule the meet and greet due to an emergency, and she also left a day early for another emergency, causing us to scramble for additional help for the last 18 hours of our trip. I can understand that emergencies happen, but it was unfortunate that two happened so close together. I got a few updates and photos, but was a nervous pet parent for most of the trip with communication being far less frequent than other sitters who have generally provided regular updates each morning and evening with info about how the pets are doing like if they ate their food, went potty, played with toys, or enjoyed treats - the standard pet update stuff. I think she did a good job, but it was also not enough communication for me to really relax and feel good about how things were going even though everything was fine until emergency #2 popped up. I would reach out again if I had a drop-in pet care need, but would not do another multi-day pet-sitting booking with MaKayla. MaKayla is very sweet and sincere in her love of animals, and I think would be a great drop-in sitter or good for families who don't mind less communication.

Makayla was so wonderful to work with. She came prior to our house sit to meet me and my dog, which helped ease the nerves of having a house sitter for the first time. She was quickly responsive and communicative about everything. She left my house cleaned and cleaned up anything she used during her stay. I will definitely be using her services again!

We met Makayla through some family friends a few years back. She came highly recommended to us and after hiring her to take care of our elderly Chihuahua a few times we understand why and we would gladly do the same. She was great about making sure our old girl got all her medications on time and followed feeding instructions to a tee. Sadly our Minnie has since passed, but we are so grateful for all the care that Makayla and other professionals gave her before she went over her rainbow bridge.

Makayla has been a great help for me and my family, I can't recommend her enough! She pulled through for us last minute when we needed to go out of town for a family emergency and took care of our doggos and our home. We absolutely love her, and in our time with her working with us we can see how she genuinely cares for our little guys. If you want to leave your fur babies in good and safe hands she's your gal!
