Hello! I’ve always been an animal lover and currently have a dog and 2 rabbits (kept separated from doggie visitors in their own bedroom). I’ve been pet sitting since 2018 and have researched animal behavior/training. My dog, Cali, gets along with friendly dogs. Please let me know beforehand if your pup has any dog or people aggression.

Makayla did a meet and greet with Rio prior to coming to stay in our home for a few hours while we were gone. When Makayla came to come watch Rio, Rio was so excited to see her! She sent us a ton of updates and made sure we were looped in, even during the short amount of time we were gone. Extremely communicative and great experience!
This was our first time boarding & we were nervous about it. However once meeting Makayla our nervousness went away! She made the process so easy. Great communication and sent multiple updates/pictures/videos throughout the weekend. Chief had so much fun!! We would 100% rebook with her.
Our dogs seemed to greatly enjoy Makayla! We are pleased and will definitely be using her again. 🥰

Makayla, always does a great job with our two pups and cat. Our cat has special healthcare needs and she has made sure she gets the meds she needs. Our dogs absolutely love when she comes over. We will be using her for our pet’s care as long as we can!

Schedule
I work a hybrid schedule with lots of flexibility and live with my fiancé, who’s also a big dog-lover. Between our schedules, we make sure to spend ample time with your dogs and provide them with plenty of one-on-one attention! I’ll always let you know before bookings if your pups will be left alone longer than 2-4 hours.

I’ve always had a love for animals and studied pre veterinary medicine my first year of college. After switching career paths, I continued helping animals by volunteering at Kansas City Pet Project and pet sitting! When watching pups in my home, they’re always supervised and typically sleep in our bedroom overnight in a dog bed or large crate (unless they are used to a different sleeping arrangement at home). We have plenty of dog beds and they are allowed on the couch, but we do keep pups off of our bed.

A typical day
Your dog’s stay will be full of playtime, walks, and cuddles! My dog, Cali, will likely run around the yard with them and play tug-of-war together. If they’re more laid back, they’ll likely spend most of their time cuddled with me on the couch. I will make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout their stay!
