I have experience with many different types of pets like dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, bunnies, pigs & ferrets (just to name a few). I’ve had dogs my entire life and have two years of professional experience working in a dog daycare creating an understanding of dog behaviors. I strive to make every experience as comfortable and enjoyable for your fur babies! I have met so many dogs with different temperaments and needs to create a positive experience while in my care. I volunteer with the local shelter and take out foster dogs all the time and I love advocating for them too! I am so passionate about animal welfare and ensuring pet parents have someone they can trust to take care of their precious babies.

I am a very patient person with animals and able to understand their body language to adjust based on their specific needs. I would love to keep your baby company with some hugs and kisses or respect their space in the same room! I have experience working with lots of different kinds of temperaments and can adjust my care based on makes you and your fur baby the most comfortable!

Makayla stayed with my dog while I was out of town and I couldn’t have been happier. She was super communicative, took incredible pictures of my pup, and left the house in good order. Super appreciative and highly recommend!
Makayla was absolutely amazing with our two dogs this past weekend! From the moment she met them, she was completely comfortable and confident, which instantly put us at ease. Our girls (a golden retriever and a mini Aussie doodle) can be pretty hyper and a little needy at times, but she handled them perfectly and gave them just the right amount of love and attention. She kept us updated the entire time with lots of pictures and great communication, so we never had to worry while we were away on vacation. It was clear they were happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of exercise, she took them on walks multiple times a day! Makayla responsible, attentive, and genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust her again in a heartbeat. Ellie and River thank you for all the cuddles 🐾
Makayla was absolutely fantastic! She followed instructions with care, kept me up to date and provided photos, she was everything I could have wanted and more. I will be using her again in the future and would recommend 100%!
Great care for my furry companion! I left 4 nights for a little road trip around North Carolina and I came back to a very relaxed and happy doggy! Makayla was very responsive and sending lots of pictures throughout the house sitting! I highly recommend! Thanks!

Schedule
I am currently a full time college student with full weekend availability but Monday-Thursday I am usually out of the house during the day 7-4:30 while Fridays I have a half day of classes, if this something that is okay with you. I will do my best to fit your needs. Please send me a message and we can work something out!
