Mikayla is a dog whisperer! She has walked my two 110lb dogs consistently for years. She also pet sits for us when we go on vacation. Sometimes I think my dogs love her more than they love us, but that is the best problem to have and makes us feel so comfortable when we leave our fur babies with her. She also has experience working in an animal hospital which I love. She knows when something is off with them and when it’s appropriate to be concerned. She is great about giving them their meds as scheduled or as needed. I can’t recommend Mikayla enough!
Makayla dog sat for my senior dog, who is diabetic and on several medications including eye drops and insulin injections, and my younger dog who is dog reactive and high energy! Although I was very nervous about leaving my my senior dog with someone else, Makayla was extremely attentive when I went over instructions with her prior and I could tell immediately my dogs would be just fine with her! She gave me frequent updates and pictures without me even asking, told me when medications were running low well in advance and even picked up a medication for me when it ran out while I was still on vacation! I highly recommend her! And if your dogs have special needs I’m certain they’ll be safe with her!
Can’t say enough amazing things about Makayla. She has cared for our 2 cats on multiple occasions. Everything from a quick overnight outing to multiple weeks on vacations. I have finicky cats who don’t necessarily like many people, but they love her. She seems to like them a lot too. I can rest comfortably knowing that she is taking great care of them. She’s the only person we can rely on to give our cats subcutaneous fluids and while it takes two of us to do it, she does it single-handedly. She is kind, loving, and incredibly reliable. Would highly recommend her services!!
Makayla is a fantastic dog walker and pet sitter for my 90lbs Great Pyrenees mix and cat. My dog is reactive to other dogs, so there are not many people I trust to walk her and be comfortable doing so, because she sometimes barks and pulls. We have been doing reactivity training for years and it requires consistency on every walk. Makayla follows our training plan using the same positive reinforcement training we do. She also is easy to communicate with and always professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
