I currently have a completely open and flexible schedule, pet care easily takes center stage in my daily routine. I do not have a traditional 9 to 5 job at the moment, which means I am home throughout the day and my time is entirely mine to manage. This allows me to perfectly tailor my schedule around your dogs specific need as opposed to forcing them to adapt to mine.

About Makayla B.

Safety, trust & environment

When doing drop-in visits, my goal is to make sure your dog gets the exact care, exercise, and attention they need while keeping your home secure. Every visit begins with a safe and cautious entry into your home, ensuring you pup doesn’t try to slip out the door. Once inside, I take to jumping right into their routine: I handle feeding, refreshing their water bowls, and administering any needed medication according to instructions. Then comes the fun part! I want to maximize our time together based on your dog’s preferences. We can go on a brisk, adventurous walk around the neighborhood, or stay in the yard/house for play time to really tire them out. If your pup is a bit older or prefers cuddle, I am more than happy to spend that time giving them one-on-one affection and companionship they deserve. Before leaving, I always do a safety sweep: double checking that your home is secure, ensure the dog is in their designated safe zone(like a craze or specific room), and send you a summary of the visit so you are updated!

Information Makayla B. would like to know about your pet

To make sure your fur baby has the safest and most comfortable experience possible, I like to gather a few key details before booking or during the Meet & Greet: 1. Routine & House Rules: What is their typical feeding/bathroom schedule? Are they allowed on the furniture/bed or do they have any specific boundaries? What words/commands do they respond to, and what are their favorites? 2. Personality, Triggers & Behavior? How do they react to seeing other animals(dogs, cats, even strangers) while on walks? Do they have any specific fears or triggers? (thunder, loud trucks, vacuum cleaner) Are there any guarding tendencies? (food, toys, or specific areas) What are some of their ways to feel comforted if it’s noticeable they are anxious? 3. Health, Medical & Safety: Do they require a daily medication/supplements or have specific allergies/dietary restrictions? Do they have sensitive spots they don’t enjoy being touched or brushed? Who is your preferred emergency vet, and do they have let insurance? During hot months, do you have booties for your dog to wear to protect their paws on the payment or should am I sticking to a strict indoor enrichment with early morning/late evening potty breaks?

A typical day

Every pet has a unique personality, so i customize our fun based on your fury baby’s age, health, energy level, and what makes them happiest! Tackling Las Vegas Heat: Indoor Fun Brain Games: Playing a game of “Find It” by hiding healthy treats around the room for them to look for and find Relaxation: Setting up KONG’s stuffed with pet-safe goodies or maybe a cooled down mat Indoor Zoomies: Gentle hallways fetch or tug of war with their favorite toys Outdoor Fun: Cooler Months/Earlier Mornings Walks: Taking leisurely walks where your dog gets to sniff, walk and adventure to their hearts content. Water Time: If you have a hose or pool in the backyard swimming in the pool or let them run through the misty water from the hose gets them exercise and keeps them cool

6 Years Caring for My 2 Dogs!

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is that I don’t just love dogs, I live in an active multi-household every single day. For the last 6 years, I’ve been personally responsible for managing their routines, different personalities, and energy levels of my own two pups. Because I am young and active, I bring a ton of energy to the table! I love going on adventures walks and playing intense games of tug of war and fetch to ensure your dogs gets real exercise. Finally, I am a huge communicator; I will send frequent photos and text updates so you always have total peace of mind while your away!

I highly recommend Makayla for anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. She has taken wonderful care of my two dogs, and I always feel comfortable knowing they are in good hands. Her drop in visits are more than just a quick checkin, she takes the time to play with them, give them attention, and make sure they have everything they need. My dogs are always happy and well cared for when she's looking after them. Her dependability, kindness, and genuine love for animals make her an exceptional dog sitter.
