I mainly work remotely however, I will have meeting and appointments I need to attend to during the week. At most your pet will not be alone for more than 2-4 hours at a time. My goal is to be able to provide my clients with excellent care at an affordable price!

A typical day
I want to keep your dog's day as similar as it would be if you were home. It can be stressful for our pets when we go away and so I want them to have a familiar schedule and have lots of fun on top of it. This means that I try and keep a regular feeding schedule, provide your dog with 1-2 walks per day, lots of potty breaks if needed, play and of course a lot of TLC.

Aloha! My name is Makana, and I am an avid animal lover with a background in canine behavior. Although I was born on Maui, I grew up in New York. Following my passion for animals, I pursued my certificate in professional dog training, pet sitting, and dog walking through Animal Behavior College after graduating from high school. With over 15 years of experience in the pet care industry, I've dedicated myself to providing exceptional care for animals. In 2020, upon moving home to Maui, I joined Maui Humane Society as a Veterinary Assistant. During my tenure there, I acquired invaluable skills in veterinary care, including advanced first aid, proficient administration of oral and injectable medication, and accurate monitoring of vital signs, . This experience further solidified my commitment to providing compassionate and professional care for pets and their Ohana's.
