Hello! Going out of town, or need a dog walker? I would love to help out and spend time with your dog! A little bit about me - I grew up on a farm and was raised amongst various breeds of dogs, ranging from Great Pyrenees to Miniature Pomeranian. I love to be active, so naturally I really enjoy taking dogs on walks and spending time outside. I have previously volunteered at the Kitsap Humane Society and Tacoma Humane Society as a dog walker so I have a wide range of experience with different breeds. I can also take care of cats or livestock if doing drop in visits. Let me know if you have any questions and hopefully I will be able to meet you and your dog soon!

Makaila did a great job taking care of our little Olive. She communicated with us every day and sent photos. Her dog, Sailor, is very sweet and will get along with any dog. We highly recommend Makaila.
I can't say thank you enough to Makaila for being so warm and welcoming especially for my first time using Rover. I was very anxious about a stranger being in our home visiting our 13y/o female Keeshond but I also couldn't imagine her being around a bunch of strange people and other dogs like what you'd get at a kennel/boarding house. Makaila was so patient with all my questions, concerns and requests. And my dog liked Makaila instantly at our meet and greet (as did my cats and 5y/o son!) I highly recommend her services to anyone. I know we look forward to having her care for our pets in the future.
I would definitely recommend Makaila as a great dog sitter. She has watched my little dog a few times and he absolutely loves her. She is attentive and gives him a lot of attention.

I have a very large fenced yard and a friendly older miniature Australian shepherd. I do have 2 small children so I will be very selective on dogs that I watch in my home unless it’s on a weekend that I don’t have my kids.

A typical day
I can take dogs for walks, play catch, take them to a dog park, or just spend time playing in the yard or the house.
