Your furry friends new companion.
I have 5 years experience volunteering at the Larimer Humane Society. I spent my mornings cleaning cat and dog kennels, walking dogs in the afternoons and playing with the cats to wind them down at the end of the day. I volunteered in Humane education programs to help youth learn about caring for and safety with animals. I spent days at fundraising events to help support the humane society and it’s furry friends. I worked in a pit bull behavioral program, giving me experience with misunderstood breeds and how to manage behavioral issues pets may have. I have grown up around cats and dogs and was responsible for their care over the years, I currently have two energetic dogs and a sassy cat that I couldn’t be prouder of.

I have a fenced in property that allows my dogs plenty of space to play, also experience in taking our dogs to the park in our neighborhood for a change of scenery and on walks on recreational trails near our home. I spend 1 to 1.5 hours a day working on training and mental enrichment with my dogs and finding ways to entertain my cat when he’s not napping. I have a separate bedroom for the animals with all their toys and necessities as well as proper crate settings for their safe places. I have experience crating both cats and dogs, feeding and caring for pets special needs and basic training and enrichment techniques from the experience I gained working in a humane society.

Schedule
I am currently working full-time as a manager. I work night shift starting at 2-3 pm Wednesday-Sunday, and I have open morning/early afternoon availability on those days and full availability on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am an early riser and would love to visit your furry friends before a shift.
