Happy Dogs, Reliable Walks & Stays
I’ve been taking care of dogs since before I was 10, from a Shih Tzu to Bullmastiffs, from puppies to dogs in the golden years (8 years or older) and my own German shepherd, who I was solely responsible for training and caring for. I’ve dealt with nervous dogs to reactive dogs. I also have a level 3 qualification in Animal Care.

In the Pet Owner’s Home: Routine & Familiarity: I stick to the pet’s daily schedule for feeding, play, and any medication, ensuring they stay comfortable and stress-free. Respectful Care: I keep the owner’s home clean and secure, treating their space with the utmost respect. Attention & Comfort: I spend quality time playing, cuddling, and keeping pets company so they feel safe and loved. Updates: I provide regular updates, including photos and texts, so owners stay connected with their pets while away. On Walks: Safety First: I use secure leashes and harnesses, keeping walks safe and enjoyable. Exercise & Fun: I tailor walk lengths and activities to each dog’s energy level and preferences. Weather Preparedness: I adjust for weather conditions to ensure the pet’s comfort and safety. Monitoring: I keep a close eye on pets, avoiding hazards and ensuring they stay happy and healthy.

Maizie was absolutely amazing from start to finish of our booking with her. She visited a couple of times for our GSD Anuska to get know her and right from the first visit it was obvious she had the experience with dogs that was needed and Anuska loved her from the first meeting. We got regular updates while we were away with photos and we could see from Anuska's eyes how happy she was. 5 stars isn't enough to say how happy and at ease we were. Maizie was lovely and took such great care of Rosie. What really stood out to me was how much Rosie seemed to like her straight away, which was so nice to see. She was very reliable, kept me updated, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Rosie with her. I also really appreciated that everything at home was left exactly as it was. I’d definitely be happy to book her again x
Maizie was great, sent pics and videos regularly and left the house clean and tidy. Responded quickly to any messages we sent so didn’t have to worry about anything. Ralphy was left in great hands and will look to use again when needed next time. Thanks again :)
Maizie was brilliant with our dog I felt totally at ease leaving him with her in fact when she left he cried she sent me regular photos of him throughout the day if you want someone who adores dogs book Maizie I would certainly book her again thanks Maizie you made a few stressful days much less stressful knowing Milo was happy with you xxx

Maizie looked after our energetic lurcher puppy for an extended overnight stay. She also very kindly took care of our elderly guinea pig and made sure he got his fresh veggies. Maizie is friendly, patient and easy-going, and clearly very experienced with puppies. She sent us photos while we were away and kept us updated which was really reassuring. We came home to happy pets and everything in order at home, and we'll definitely be asking her to stay again in the future.

Schedule
Im currently looking for work, but would love to make this a full time job due to my adoration of dogs (and animals in general) and my willingness to helping people. So I am currently available all day and all week!
