I would like to know everything! What are you dogs likes or dislikes? What are they comfortable with i.e. other dogs, other animals, cars, city noises, etc. Do they have any interesting quirks or special needs? High energy or low energy? Are there any behavioral issues? What is your dog's favorite thing to do? Doesn't matter the breed, I love them all!
A typical day
Whatever your dogs love to do, I love to do! We can go on walks in my neighborhood, your neighborhood, in the woods, in the city, whatever works for you! If your dog loves the dog park, we'll be at the dog park until they play themselves silly. If they love to work on agility or tricks, we can do that too! If there are specific places or things your dogs like, I would love to accommodate those. Similarly, if there is anything your dog hates or is fearful of, we can work on those fears together or completely avoid them. I like to keep it interesting!

Pet care experience
I have loved animals since I was a little girl whether it be big or small, a pet fish or a pet horse, I am a true animal lover at heart, although I am especially in love with dogs! I have experience with any type of dog you can think of from small to large, those with behavioral issues, reactive dogs, special needs, medication, etc. I love to work with them all! I am trained in positive reinforcement training, pet nutrition, grooming, and pet first aid and CPR. While I do work full time, I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am primarily available after 3pm and anytime on the weekends but I am definitely willing to work with your to fulfill your needs. I will love and care for your pet just like you do because that's what I would want. Please reach out to me if you have any questions!

Thank you so much Maiya! Maiya has clear communication & is reliable! Most recently she helped care for my cat who needs daily asthma medication. Maiya is able to deliver asthma inhalers or pills. She’s creative & a problem solver when the cats are picky about medication. Maiya is the best!
