Safety, trust & environment

I am alright with whatever makes clients (you!) feel most comfortable! I can do routine check-ins, or I could stay in house and overnight with your pet. Everyone has a preference and I am very “go-with-the-flow”. I think it is very important to try to keep the animals as comfortable as possible and safe and happy in their home throughout the service <3. I will not be offering pet boarding services in my home due to living in a second floor studio apartment, so staying in client's homes is my usual service.

Information Mairead T. would like to know about your pet

Anything you may find important for me to know, and possibly any special cases or needs I should be aware of to better service you and your pet.

A typical day

Long or short walks around the neighborhood, playing outside (or inside if that’s allowed!), and plenty of lovin will be given <3. Whatever your dog likes to do best in their typical day, I will customize what our day would look like, to each different job!

Vet assistant looking to help! :)

Pet care experience

I am a veterinary assistant at a TUFTS emergency animal hospital who specializes in radiology. I have animal care experience for the last 4.5 years PLUS pet sitting for the last 4 years! I am fun, young, caring, and loving; no animal is out of my consideration or ability. I have experience administering medications to dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs :) I also can do injectables. Senior care is no issue here! I always grew up with animals all around me and had a special bond with them, leading to me knowing I was destined to end up working with them in as many ways as possible. I would love to make your life a little easier, and have you feel good about the care they’re in!

Mairead was great on an overnight with our dog. We came home to a happy pup. She kept us updated on how things were going & sent photos and she was very flexible when we needed to cancel one of our nights. HIghly recommend her to care for your furry family members!

Mairead was so kind and caring when watching over our quirky senior pom. The pictures and updates were so welcome and appreciated. Hope to have her help us out again in the future!

Mairead was fantastic! She house sat for our 2 dogs for a long weekend. She left the place immaculate and took such great care of the pups. We loved the photo/video updates we received daily . It was wonderful knowing they were home and comfortable in such good hands while we were away. We will absolutely be using her as our dog sitter going forward. THANK YOU Mairead!!
