Hello, my name is Maira and I’m a life long animal lover. I’ve had all kinds of pets and cared for everything from turtles to fish, hamsters and birds, a rabbit, cats and dogs. Although I love all animals, Dogs are where my heart melts! I’ve taken care of friend’s dogs as well as helped friends and family basic train their small and large breed dogs. I have 10+ years of experience with dogs of all sizes and ages including my 90lb high energy Doberman which taught me a lot. If you remember one thing from my page I hope it’s this; I will take care of your furry babies as if they were my own.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
During a drop in visit, I let your fur child out for a potty breaks and ensure they have plenty of water, food, and treats (if you okay the treats before hand) then hang out, play, and love on them for the remainder of the 30mins. During a walk booking, I will pick up your dog for a walk around the neighborhood. Which can be part structural and part sniffing to mentally stimulate and not just physically work out. The goal is a happy healthy pupper (and yes a 10 y/o is still a pupper) you will receive photos of our adventures and a message informing you how your baby’s walk went. Rain or Shine! Your Dog’s safety is my top priority. If it’s too hot or it is raining we will alter our walks with either a rain jacket or walking indoors at a near by pet friendly store. I am prepared with towels, plenty of water and a pet first aid kit should we ever need anything.

I honestly can't say how amazing Maira was. I had to book her super last minute and she went above and beyond to make both me and my dogs feel comfortable with the process. Including I might add, needing to add a walk mid trip due to flight timing that she was able to book me for. The dogs were obviously happy, the rover cards she sent were informative, and I couldn't be happier. I will absolutely be booking her again in the future and recommend her highly.
Maira did great as always walking Canelo, she took I’m through a new route and it seems every time she interacts with him he likes and trusts her more and more. We found our permanent dog sitter/walker.
Today’s was Mairas first time doing a drop in it visit with canelo while I was at work and she did great she sent me pics and he seems very happy playing with her , she fed him and even gives her his paw. The first time she walked him canelo seemed to instantly trust and like her and today’s drop in visit just further proves it. We will definitely continue you booking with Maira.
Maira is absolutely wonderful with our dog, and I can’t recommend her enough! From our very first meeting, it was clear she has a genuine love for animals. Our pup took to her instantly, which says everything. She is reliable, communicative, and incredibly attentive. We always get updates and photos during walks, which gives us such peace of mind throughout the day. You can tell she treats every dog like her own. If you’re looking for a dog walker you can truly trust, look no further than Maira. She’s a gem!
Overall really pleased with how Maira interacted with canelo she took her time to get to know him and was super patient with him as he got comfortable with her definitely booking again.
I had a great experience and would absolutely recommend Maira to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or pet sitter. She was very communicative, reliable, and clearly genuinely cares about animals. My dog warmed up to her quickly and always came back happy and well exercised. I also really appreciated the updates and photos while I was away because it gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was being well taken care of. You can tell Maira takes pet care very seriously.

Schedule
Monday through Friday I am available 6:30am - 6:30pm to care for your furry family. Saturdays and Sundays I am available 7:00am -7:00pm. If you need me outside of this time frame please let me know.
Prices include all fees.
