Hi, I’m Maile! I’ve had years of experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors. My schedule is very flexible, and I’m available to help any day of the week. My work schedule varies depending on the week. I can be gone up to 8 hours depending on the day. I offer pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking, and I’m also comfortable administering medication. My senior family dog has allergies, so I’m familiar with providing extra care when needed. I grew up volunteering at the Placer SPCA, which gave me a solid foundation in animal care. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small animals like rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rats. I also spent four years in college in Hawaii and worked at a doggie daycare for two of those years, where I gained even more experience working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own!

I always stick closely to your pet’s usual routine. This is including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care like medications or grooming. I want to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I will definitely keep everything clean and secure. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos! I’m able to take dogs out every 3–4 hours and am happy to accommodate any specific needs. Please share any important details ahead of time so I can be fully prepared to give your pet the best care possible.

This was my second time using her services for longer trips and I highly recommend Maile. Great with my bunnies and helps ease the stress of leaving them at home.
Maile did a great job, followed our instructions perfectly, and left our place super clean (just like I had left it 10 days prior). She was responsive via text and sent daily photos of our two cats. I was wishing for more text updates during the check-ins, but was happy to have the pictures. No complaints and would definitely book Maile again, thank you!

I recently graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with a B.A. in Communication. I am still figuring out what I want to do with my career so I enjoy pet sitting for the time being. I’m flexible, reliable, and available any day of the week to care for your pets!
