I understand that pets are family, and I care for every dog as if they were my own. My husband and I share our home with two very loved and pampered dogs. Creating a safe, clean, calm, fun and comforting environment is simply part of our everyday life. I prefer to only have 1-2 small dogs in addition to my own. Please let me know, should I consider an exception. I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to your dog’s needs, whether you’re looking for daycare, overnight stays, or extended care. My goal is to make your pup feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. What your dog can expect: * Daily feeding with filtered water, treats, and care based on your preferences * Playtime, companionship, and lots of affection * A large fenced backyard with plenty of indoor and outdoor toys * Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of toys, beds, blankets, and shared spaces * Dog walking * Oral medication administration if needed * Regular updates and photos for peace of mind I pay close attention to cleanliness and comfort: * Gentle pet wipes after potty breaks * Warm bedtime wipe-downs for paws, face, and coat before settling in for the night * Cozy sleeping arrangements and a calm home environment Our dogs are well-behaved, non-crate-trained, and free to roam throughout the home and fenced yard under supervision. Most days, the dogs simply follow me around as a little furry entourage, which honestly seems to make everyone happy. Feeding schedules can easily be customized, including morning and evening meals, daytime snacks, and a small bedtime treat before the final potty break. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I strive to provide the kind of attentive, loving care I’d want for my own pets.

Maiken was an excellent caregiver. She provided us with plenty of updates and pictures of our dogs. We will be booking with her again.
Maiken watched our puppy and it was her first night away from us. She took really good care of her and sent lots of pictures/videos. Given this was her first night away, Maiken was really patient and understanding with her. Would highly recommend.
Maiken is such an amazing pet sitter for our Corgi Jack! She always sends updates and photos, and Jack is always so happy to see her! Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am currently a stay at home dog mom and working from home part time so I am able to be pretty free and flexible right now with my schedule during week and weekends. My husband Larry helps me coordinate coverage if I am out for a few hours since he can work from home if needed. I only prefer to host 2, consider 3 smaller dogs in addition to my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a nice large fenced yard with grass. My blonde cavapoo Kumo is sweet, timid and playful but tends to keep to himself for most part around other dogs but occasionally participates in the action out of curiosity. Kumo is very demanding with his playtime schedule. He won’t even eat or snack usually unless he plays first and is extremely picky. His little brother Kenzo is mostly a fearless spunky spirit. He is extremely playful, sweet and curious with other dogs and loves to play with others but can tend to get a little territorial and defensive. My dogs are allowed on furniture and bed. I also have several pet beds around the house and a couple outside for their convenience and comfort. Filtered water is always available downstairs as well as upstairs.

A typical day
My cavapoos are very active so we play a lot with toys and they are obsessed with fetch and playtime. They also love their walks.
