I’m currently working remotely Monday through Friday, so my schedule’s very flexible. I typically finish my meetings by noonish and can pet sit from noon to evening.

A typical day
For dogs, I can use their favorite toy to play with them. If you have treats you want me to give them, I can put them in hiding places for them to sniff them out or try doing any tricks they might have learned to help with stimulation! For cats, I’ll find out which toys they’ll completely ignore, and which toys they go bonkers for (I know they are very particular)! I also love to groom cats if you have a brush at home.

Pet care experience
I adopted my first cat in 2020 from my local vet and have taken 3 more cats under my wing since then with my partner! I am extremely well-versed in all the intricacies of litter scooping, Churu giving, and slowly building trust! But before I became an avid cat lover, I was all about dogs. Growing up, I was the designated dog sitter from many of our my extended family members. Please note that I do not have experience with kittens, puppies, or special needs animals.

Maia is communicative, friendly, and detailed. She scheduled a meet and greet with me and my cats to make sure she understood all of their needs and where things were. She gave them treats and sent lots of pics of them playing and hanging around. I would definitely have Maia watch them again!
