I’ve had dogs since I was 6 years old, I always feel like the first dog I had took care of me. Since then I have tried to repay the kindness. I have helped my friend raise her puppy for the last year. She has worked days and I work from home, so I had him half the time. It was a joy. I have had rescue dogs in their old age being their last home. I have had dogs all the way up to 17 years old. So I am familiar with all ages and temperaments. I am very experience with training and sticking to a plan to make sure dogs feel comfortable and safe. While still being the pack leader. I feel like this is the most important thing for dogs. Once they know they don’t have to protect you they can fully relax and just be there with you. I love being one of the pack.

I live in a pet friendly building and live alone so the dogs will have my full attention. I am on the 4th floor, but take the dogs out frequently.

We had an amazing experience leaving our senior beagle Elliott in Maia's care. It was our first time having a sitter, and Maia not only put us at ease about the whole process but went above and beyond our expectations. Elliott instantly gravitated to her, you can always tell when someone truly loves animals. He was so happy to stick with his routine and Maia took great care to understand his quirky personality. She was professional, sent regular updates, and was quick to reply (even before our booking). We'd gladly entrust Elliott to her care in future and recommend to others.
Maia was great checking in on my cat and alleviated a lot of stress for him when I was out of town. Maia is a true animal lover and my cat was comfortable with her right away. She is reliable, communicates well, and follows all the instructions for your pet. I am looking forward to her caring for my cat again.
Mia treated Floki & our home like family! Floki didn’t miss us at all & was spoiled to perfection. The house was taken care. Communication was perfect through our holiday & everything was handled. Now our dog is sad & missing her!

We left our two Aussies for the first time ever and are more then thankful for Maias availability and willingness to take care of them for over three weeks! We came home to fresh flowers on the table, clean bedding and most importantly two happy and healthy dogs. Maia gave us daily updates, while we were away. She took them to fun and safe places by car, for them to get out their abundant energy and just loved them with all their quirks. One of our dogs has a medical condition, that needs specific diet/he reacts to stress. The fact that he didn’t get a flare up just shows what a great job she did in taking care of them. We’d definitely book her again- thank you, Maia!
We had a fantastic experience with Maia! She came for a trial night to watch all four of our dogs and handled it perfectly, then stayed for 8 nights with three of them. She took excellent care of our dogs, they were happy, relaxed and clearly well loved when we got home. Our oldest dog has quite a few medical needs which the tended to perfectly and reached out if she needed any information. She handled all of their quirks with ease. Our house was spotless when we got home which was so appreciated after a trip. Maia’s communication was great throughout and we got to relax and enjoy our time away without worrying about them for a minute. Our dogs adore her and we know they’ll be so happy when she comes to stay again! We feel so lucky to have found such a loving, reliable and trustworthy sitter.

Programa
I work from home Tuesday to Saturday so I am available all days to be with them. I live right by Dallas so there is lots of good walking areas around me.
