I enjoy actual rats so much more than the business rat race I used to be in! I've cared for animals all my life, from my own pets (currently consisting of a 20-year-old cat, two 14-year-old chinchillas, a tankful of fish, and an aquatic frog) to the horses, goats, and chickens on the Iowa farm where I grew up. In addition to feeding, snuggling, and general litter box and cage/tank maintenance, I'm skilled at administering medication, giving subcutaneous fluids, and clipping claws. I'll also gladly take your pet to his or her vet appointments, clean your exotic's cage, and water your plants. I am extremely organized, reliable, and responsive, and I'm available at your convenience for a no-charge initial interview and to meet in person (and in animal). I specialize in cats and smaller animals, but am happy to meet with your dog to see if we hit it off. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry, scaly, and feathered families!
