I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. Growing up in Hawai‘i, I was always surrounded by animals including cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even a chameleon, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I will lovingly take care of your cat and dog in your home and treat them as if they were my own. I have many years of experience caring for friends’ cats and dogs, and I’m especially comfortable with senior pets and those who need extra attention. I cared for my own cat for 18.5 years, which gave me extensive hands-on experience with medications, supplements, special diets, administering subQ fluids, and maintaining detailed routines. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and close observation, especially for older pets or pets with medical needs. I’m very detail oriented and follow instructions carefully. Whether your pet needs medication, supplements, multiple small meals, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, I’m happy to provide exactly the care they need. Mai was really helpful to work out a time to visit our cat, Mom, while we were out. She listened to all of our concerns and it even showed in how cheerful Mom was when we returned. Mai was also kind enough to send us videos and photos of their time together and I’d recommend her to anyone especially those with senior babies. Thanks Mai!
Mai is so incredible! She clearly loves animals and our kitty was quick to warm up to her, which isn't often the case. Mai's communication is amazing and completely takes away any worries we have when we have to be away for extended time. We will be booking with Mai any time we can!
Mai was able to accommodate a last minute booking for Christmas, offered to do a pre-visit check-in and meet our cats before we left for our trip. She was very attentive to our directions took good care of our cats!
Mai cat sat for my beloved Sonny several times over a several years. She slept over and cared for him as if he was her own. She fed, played with Sonny, sent pics and updates of their time together. Sonny adored Mai as much as my husband and I do. I highly recommend hiring Mai to pet sit!

I truly care about creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet and treat them as if they were my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and detail oriented, so I make sure the little things that help your pet feel comfortable, happy, and secure are never overlooked. I have hands-on experience caring for both a senior cat and dog with special needs and medication, which has helped me become especially patient and attentive with pets who need extra care or reassurance. I’m always happy to follow any instructions for medications, medical concerns, anxiety, special needs, or daily routines while you’re away. If your pet has dietary restrictions or should only have the food and treats you’ve provided, just let me know and I’ll be sure to follow everything exactly as instructed.

A typical day is centered around keeping your pet happy, comfortable, and engaged while sticking closely to their usual routine. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and energy level so their day feels familiar and stress-free. For cats, this usually means playtime with their favorite toys. Whether that’s a feather wand, a crinkle toy, or quiet companionship if they prefer a calmer day. I’m happy to follow their lead and let them set the pace. For dogs, I love engaging in whatever activities they enjoy most, whether that’s playing with their favorite toys, fetch, going for walks, or simply spending quality time together. I understand that every dog is different, especially depending on age and energy level, so activities are always tailored to what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and care throughout the day, while keeping things relaxed and enjoyable.
