Calm Home for Small & Medium Dogs
Hi, I’m Maya and I specialize in small-medium sized dogs (up to 40lbs). I keep things calm and low-key at home so your dog will never feel overwhelmed especially when they’re adjusting to being away from home. I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable here. My Shih Tzu, Pippa and I have always loved having other dogs around, and it makes me so happy seeing her get excited when new friends come over.

We couldn’t be happier with the care Mahan gave our French Bulldog, Tessa, while we were away on our trip to Iceland. Leaving your puppy behind is never easy, but Mahan made the entire experience completely stress free. She was kind, reliable, and clearly treated Tessa like she was one of her own. We received regular updates that gave us so much peace of mind, and when we picked Tessa up, she was happy, healthy, and clearly very well cared for. It’s obvious that Mahan genuinely loves dogs and is passionate about what she does. Knowing Tessa was in such caring hands allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation without constantly worrying about her. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mahan to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable to care for their pet. maya was so sweet! when i dropped honey off, she sent me a text 30 minutes later with a picture and an update. she truly enjoyed her time with honey and sent updates throughout her stay, and it made me so happy and reassured that honey was being taken care of. definitely will book again. thank you maya!!
Mahan was wonderful. We ran into a last minute emergency and needed care for our Teddy with little notice. Mahan was so kind to accept our request. Teddy was extremely happy as he greeted Mahan. She took great care of him. I would definitely recommend sitting with Mahan and if we’re ever in Oshawa again, we now have a new trusted sitter. ❤️👌🏽
We left Stanley in Maya's care for the past 5 days. She was kind and caring and made sure he was well looked after while we were away. Maya's communication was great, so we were very comfortable knowing our little guy was in good hands. We would happily book with Maya again, and highly recommend her to others.
Was very lovely and was able to take our raccoon last minute. Our puppy has a lot of anxiety but she was very patient with him and waited until he was ready to take him for a walk.

Most days are a simple routine including breakfast, a short walk, then a mix of backyard time, play, naps, and a quiet rhythm throughout the day.

I have a fully fenced yard and supervise backyard playtime. I can follow detailed care instructions, including crating if requested. I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog with a stranger so I send multiple daily photos and videos. Owners often tell me how reassuring it is to see their dog relaxed and settling in so well. Every dog who stays with me is cared for with patience, attention, and the same level of care I give my own dog.
