As a full-time graduate student and wedding singer, my schedule is pretty flexible—which works out perfectly for giving your pets the time and attention they deserve! I’m able to do daytime check-ins, evening visits, and overnight stays, and I enjoy building pet care into my weekly routine.

I naturally connect with animals—they tend to gravitate toward me, and I love building that bond with them. Beyond just care, I really value creating a calm, loving, and attentive environment so pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I believe I’d make a great sitter because I’m responsible, communicative, and genuinely invested in each pet’s well-being. For me, it’s not just about pet sitting—it’s about creating a sense of comfort, consistency, and trust while you’re away. In a client’s home, I’m very mindful of maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. That means sticking to feeding schedules, keeping litter boxes clean, walking, engaging in playtime, and paying attention to their unique personality and needs. Whether your pet is super social or a bit more independent, I meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe and cared for in their own space. I also make it a priority to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is always to provide not just care, but companionship—and to be someone you and your pet can trust.

Before caring for your pet, I like to know their routine (feeding, walks or litter care), personality, and energy level. It’s also important to be aware of any medical needs, allergies, or behaviors like anxiety or triggers. I also love knowing their favorite toys, treats, and activities so I can keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day with me is structured, attentive, and fun for your pet. I stick closely to their usual routine: feeding, walks or litter box care, and regular check ins, while making sure they get plenty of attention throughout the day. I adjust to each pet’s personality, whether they’re energetic or more laid-back, and always keep your home clean and stress-free. For fun, I love being hands on. With cats, I enjoy interactive play like wand toys or lasers to keep them engaged. And for pets that prefer a calmer vibe, I’m always happy to just keep them company and give them affection on their terms. I’ll play chase with dogs (which I feel like I have too much fun doing because it makes me feel like a kid again haha) and take them on walks or to nearby parks if you’re comfortable. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away.

Pet care experience
A big part of my childhood was spent caring for pets—though not all at the same time! I grew up with two cats, Spike (a black cat) and Sunny (a tabby), as well as a pitbull/bulldog mix named Dash. That’s really where my love for animals started. Taking care of them taught me responsibility, attentiveness, and how to understand different pet personalities. It also sparked my soft spot for pit bulls and larger dogs—they’ve always had a special place in my heart. Over the past couple of years, I’ve expanded that experience by caring for both cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments. I’ve worked with kittens, adult cats, and dogs including Boston Terriers (both senior and puppy), German Shepherds, Chocolate Labs, Terrier mixes, Pitbulls, and Bulldogs. I’m comfortable adjusting my care depending on the pet—whether that means keeping up with a high-energy puppy, being patient and gentle with a senior dog, or giving a shy cat the space they need to warm up. What sets me apart is how intentional I am with care. I pay attention to the little things—behavior changes, energy levels, routines—and I make sure pets feel safe, seen, and comfortable. I’m also reliable and communicative, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. And as a bonus, I can keep your plants alive too! My mom has been into gardening since 2020 (and is still going strong), and while she’s the expert, I’ve picked up solid basics—watering, light needs, and general upkeep—so your plants will be in good hands as well.

Mahama is exceptional! I have the most timid little boston terrier baby that requires lots of affection and attention and Mohamma gave him that and more! She was great with maintaining his walk and feeding schedules and sending updates on how he’s doing. I travel quite often for work and it’s the most reassuring and grateful feeling to know Leo is safe and happy while I’m away. Each time Leo sees her he practically jumps out of the car and is so happy to see her and that’s a big deal because of how timid and anxious he can be. Highly recommend!
