Hi my name is Mahala and I love dogs. Since childhood, dogs have been apart of my family. I've had German Shepherds, Chows, and rescue dogs of mixed breeds. I've also worked as a Veterinary Assistant and have rescued and nursed strayed dogs until I found homes for them. Because of this love I have for animals, especially dogs, I would love this job. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and can't have a dog of my own right now. Simply being able to spend time (primarily walking and house sitting) with these furry friends will be an oasis to me. I'm not currently holding any other jobs. I would greatly appreciate this opportunity and be exceptional at it. I plan to use the Rover app to answer clients in the area and provide efficient and responsible service.

I am so grateful to have found Mahala! She took amazing care of my dog baby Teddy for an entire week! I had another sitter cancel last minute before I left for vacation, plus I live in a new area, and Mahala was so awesome; responded quickly to my request and relieved this huge stress for me. I'm always super nervous about anyone new, but she put me at ease; I received lots of updates/pics while I was away and was even a tiny bit jealous of how much fun Teddy had with her. She took perfect care of my home, everything just as I left it, and also perfect care of my precious Teddy. I'll definitely book with her for all of my future needs. Thank you so much Mahala!
Mahala was amazing with my dogs! She stayed overnight with them at my house and took great care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She sent me pictures and kept me updated the whole time I was gone. I was very appreciative to have her stay and watch my babies!
My little puppers loves Mahala! I was a little worried living him alone because he’s so shy, but he warmed up to her so quickly! She took great care of him. He was happy, clean and fed. I’ve had her come back to babysit a couple times and I nervous he’s starting to like her more than me! Mahala is the best dog sitter ever.
