Every morning my cat kids wake me up around 5:30/6am. The cats and I eat our breakfast together, Babygirl gets her meds, and then just spend the rest of the morning lounging and relaxing. When the senior dog wakes up, he gets his meds and breakfast and then it’s walk time!! Lunch time the cats each get a little churu treaty, and they spend some time playing before afternoon naps. They basically bounce back and forth from silly time to deep sleep for the rest of the day, then it’s dinner time, walkys for Kenji the dog and more playtime, then bed.

Having a heads up about behavioral issues or habits especially with dogs would be wonderful. I will not allow a dog I am sitting to roam off leash unless it’s an approved area like a dog park. No exceptions. I won’t allow cats outside of the house during house sitting, this is for their safety and your peace of mind.
A typical day
I love nature, so I would be excited to go on a fun lil adventure walk with your pup. We can go birdwatching and sniff all the flowers. At home with your cat, I would be just as equally excited to LOUNGE with them. Even when cats are shy, or “mean,” I still love them and respect their boundaries. I find the easiest way to break the ice is through play! Silly time with pets is the best.

I love all animals and I have experience in lots of different animal care, including aquatics and exotics. I myself have two cats and a dog, and I have helped out folks with many different species, including husbandry. I’m so excited to meet your pet!

Maggie is a caring and compassionate care giver for all furbabies! She has cared for our Labs, English Bulldog, and Fenchie. She has two cats of her own that she rescued, and she has experience with caring for her previous cat that had cancer, so she knows and understands the issues and sensitivities that come along with that type of painful journey. Maggie has been amazing with my big rowdy (but sweet) dogs and is patient, considerate, and professional. She takes care to ensure that my dogs are happy, comfortable, and well looked after and they always love the time they spend with her. She’s got a great connection with animals and is a great communicator. She’s reliable and timely and follows instructions perfectly while also having the common sense a person needs to handle animals who are at times unpredictable. I trust her wholeheartedly with my pets and you should too!!
