Availability
I have a full time day job weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM but will come straight home to take care of your pets. On weekdays, I can do visits in early morning and again in the evening; on weekends I'm available mid-day too.

I am reliable, responsible, and understand the importance of following guidelines, respecting privacy, communicating and meeting your pet's individual needs. I'll feed your pets, give fresh water, fill auto feeders, give attention and exercise, play and cuddle, give medications, scoop litter, clean up any pet messes and send an update and photos. Your pet will be my passion. I can also bring in mail and packages, water plants, adjust lights, put out garbage and feed small animals (fish, hamsters, etc.).

A typical day
I can take dogs for short potty-break walks in your neighborhood so they get some activity and fresh air. I don't currently offer long or fast walks. We can also play in your yard. Cats get love and playtime. I like photographing pets too.

Pet care experience
Pet sitting in Alameda. I care for cats and small animals. I've taken care of the pets of neighbors and friends since I was a kid, cared for my family’s cats, dogs, fish and small furry critters and dog-walked and house-sat professionally as a young adult. I studied biology and animal behavior in college and volunteered at the Marine Mammal Center - I love animals. In recent years I’ve been a loving mom to some seriously cute cats and dedicated caretaker of a colony of outdoor cats. I got them fixed, vaccinated, treated and cared for and many adopted. I adopted and socialized four adult ferals myself. Now I'm enjoying pet sitting through Rover and meeting all sorts of adorable fur babies! I love all animals and really get cats - they're my buddies.

It was my boyfriend and I’s first time leaving our kitty alone for the weekend while out on a trip and Maggie was a huge help! She was professional, kept us updated on each visit, and sent lots of pictures. Our kitty was so happy during her visits and we will definitely be rebooking (:
Maggie's bond with our cats is amazing. No one else can get the response from them that she gets. They love her.
Maggie was very thorough in her care, and she sent great pics of our kitties having fun!
